League of Legends Tournament Background I noticed that a lot of people from this community play League of Legends and I recently just got into it. After talking the usual smack with Darktooth, he and I were challenging each other to a 1v1. Today, I was talking with someone about the 1v1, and about how we're putting all our points up for stake, and something crossed my mind: a gigantic League of Legends Tournament with a lot of TTT In-game points in a pot for the champion. Organization This will be a 5v5 tournament, and depending on how many people sign up, we will have 4+ teams that will fight. Spoiler: Bracket Set-Up Seeds will be randomized, and we'll try to do the 1 of the 5 levels each day. Games will go on at the same time, not just one after another. Entry To enter this tournament, simply leave a comment about your favorite champion in the game. To get the pool going, there will be an entry fee of 500 points in-game (given to me). If you can't pay up, I'm sure someone including myself can spot you a few to ensure your entry in the tourney. (The mandatory points for entry is simply to get the pot going and filled for the most adept player) Good luck to all those joining the competition, and get to practice! Hey, that's neat! I'm willing to enter and pay for anyone that wants to participate but doesn't have enough points. My favorite champion is Vayne mostly because of her "outplay" potential and she has such a beautiful late game scaling. : ] I have some questions: Will the tournament be like a draft mode/blind/aram ? Any restrictions ? I assume ranks won't be taken into account if seeds are randomized. I'll just edit my posts to reply to avoid clutter. A 5v5 would seem fun as well! Maybe have teams formed by yourself to balance them out! :]
I'm actually in the midst of updating this to make it a 5v5 summoners valley tourney instead. 1v1 seems to be quite an issue in terms of certain players dominating the bracket.

Trying to get as many people as we can, but you may be right. Maybe we'll just have a little makeshift championship game, haha.

Agreed. I doubt we have enough people who can get on all at once for 4 teams, we rarely have enough for 2...
