Reason For Report:

Detective Doge put himself under Jinx who was crowbaring at a wall repeatedly to draw something and kept telling her, 'You don't have the balls to jump off.' Another person and I, whose name I could not recall, were trying to push him out from under her so he would get out of her way. At that point, a C4 blast went off damaging all of us and Doge then open fired on me, killing Jinx in the process and claiming it was 'Crossfire'.

@Axol - Was Spectating the whole time on Doge and states as well Doge kept putting himself there and was in no danger and I was pushing him away, not in.

Evidence - We were by no ledges on the back of a wall while Jinx was crowbaring up high to draw something. Doge repeatedly put himself under her and I pushed him out of the way. Over mix, Doge repeatedly stated, 'You don't have balls to jump off this ledge'. At that point, A C4 blast went off, injuring us all and Doge killed me and Jinx. When asked about it, by both Jinx and I, he said he 'intentionally' killed me and hit Jinx in the crossfire.

Jinx pointing out Doge was intentionally standing under the crowbar and Doge's back was against the wall, clearly not in any danger. Also pointing out that Doge was being pushed OUT not in.

Here is the report.

 

I was standing to the left hand side of Jinx's wallart (if you look where she is facing). I will admit, I was standing dangerously close to her wall-art but not to the point where she could hit me, I was standing there but Jinx was still hitting the wall. Then there was one guy pushing me AWAY from the wall art, to my right. (left, if you look where Jinx was facing). I went back to the position I was in and then Ravin came to the right of me (left if you look where Jinx was facing) and pushed me. Keep in mind I was to the left of her wallart, Ravin had came to the right of me, (left, if you look where Jinx was facing). I panicked and attempted to shoot Ravin but a c4 went off, I was continuing to shoot Ravin but after he died I had shot Jinx because she was right behind Ravin and she was Near Death due to the explosion. I did in fact kill Ravin intentionally, but Jinx was caught in crossfire

 

That's what I have been saying the whole time and my story is not going to change Ravin.

 

Nah. You were standing under my line art and started getting pushed around out of it. The C4 went off before you started shooting.

 

Were you at a height sufficient enough to take damage if pushed off? If she was close enough to a wall, such that she was drawing art, you should have been in no danger if pushed and thus not allowed to kill the guy for pushing you.

 

No, I could have gotten hit by the crowbar. I was standing near her painting, I did not want her slain.

EDIT: I'm not sure if Ravin would have gotten slain or if Jinx would have been slain because I have not heard of an incident where someone pushes someone else and gets damaged my another.

I attempted to shoot then the c4 went off. Also, from my point of view I was to the left of your wall-art not directly below

 

You didnt answer my question. You shot him because he pushed you with a crowbar, but were you in any danger of taking damage from the push (i.e. close enough to a ledge)?

 

No, I would not have taken any fall damage whatsoever, but I could have been damaged by the crowbar.

I will admit I was a bit trigger happy at the time and I apologize. I will take any punishment if it is needed.

 

That's RDM, lol. You can't kill someone for that unless you are in danger of death/injury (near a tall ledge, towards lava, etc). And since swinging a crowbar is not considered traitor baiting, even though he pushed you into Jinx's crowbar, you still would not be able to kill him. You would only be able to kill Jinx if she was shooting a gun and you got pushed into the line of fire.

 

Well I wasn't sure what to do because I have not been confronted by this particular event, I was assuming it would be the same thing as pushing someone into someone else's line of fire, but I have been proven wrong. I will take any punishment necessary. I apologize for being so trigger happy. I will try my best to not let this happen again.

 

Sorry, I abruptly left because something came up at my house. After reviewing the evidence, I have come to a conclusion that this was rdm. Since you were in no real danger of fall damage or any part of the map that would harm you, a slay will be issued.

 

Isn't this two slays for Jinx and myself or just one? He did kill us both.

 

It's two, since crossfire is only a valid "excuse" when the originally intended target is being shot at for a valid reason (e.g. if you RDM someone and also kill someone in crossfire, it's 2 RDMs)

 

Thank you for the clarification. I know Rambo wasn't trying to just leave and the circumstances were weird and needed a bit more to look into.

If this is all taken care of, I have nothing else to add.
