Reason For Report:

I was slain for an invalid reason without apology and without the ability to respond as no report was made against me. The slay was pure Mod discretion which I disagree with as the offending kill was on an innocent who was in the T room and was therefore KOSable. The player I did kill ϟ Static ϟ seemed to accept his death as valid as he never filed a report.​

1. It looks like Azaelus may have slain too quickly. We are trained to get the full story before making any verdicts.
2.Nobody technically has to report you for you to get slain. Let's say I was playing on a server with Lightning. If he kills me every round as a joke and it leads to Mass RDM or ruins other people's experiences, then shouldn't the mod slay you based on the damage logs alone? Some admins encourage their mods to make a report with the damage log info in the description so that the player knows what he did wrong and can respond via text there. However, perhaps Azaelus' admin (@Nena) does not require this.

I know that no report needs to be made in order for a slay to be issued but I believe that the mod also has to have proof of me doing something innately against the rules which in this case I was not. The offence he gives for the slay was for something that by the rules I am allowed to do and was not abusing the rules the make the game unfair or unfun for anyone involved and if it was then all that would have been required was to inform me of the errors in my behavior and I would correct it.

I have run into times where I have done something such as using the makeup of the map Alien to allow for a Quick innocent win which was unfair to the traitors and after a Mod had asked me to stop I immediatly did so and had not used the advantage the map makeup provided and also attempted to discourage others from doing so.

 

Just because there is damage in the logs that show INNO on INNO damage does not mean it is RDM, no matter how obvious it may appear. Azaelus should have asked you beforehand why you threw the frag grenade before taking action.

Additionally, since no report was made, and no attention appears to have been brought to the staff about the situation, there is no need to act upon the frag kill. We have a RDM report system and admin chat if a player would like to notify staff of RDMs. It is assumed not RDM unless it's reported to the staff.

 

Yes. Thinking back, it appears that I did act too quickly when I slayed you. I've seen too many cases of frag damage/kills like yours that at that point, I just issued a slay on you. The logs shows multiple frag grenades thrown by you across the whole round, so I assumed the worst of you. Moreover, I believe I was wrong and I'll take this into consideration the next time I deal with these sort of RDM situations.
It was past midnight here in Singapore and I wasn't paying my full attention to my modding activities. I apologise for the inconvenience I set upon you.
