No way this should be considered RDM

I have found my time on serious TTT servers to be riddle with inconsistency and double standards. Mods get away with RDM where i find myself getting slayed for the most ridiculous reasons. The latest of which was an incident where i killed a traitor for obviously trying to hide a detectives body, and when only 10 seconds ago i was alone with the 2 of them. I only came back because i heard a sniper shot to come from where i just was to find Amatsu hiding a detectives body, but of course Mr Rogers thinks that should be considered random death match. The very term makes that invalid because there is no way what i did was without reason. I was right, and of course since Amatsu plays often on the servers he gets his way, and has the audacity to laugh after i get slayed. Serious TTT's strict rules is one of the many reasons i play on it, but when it comes to favoritism and blatant double standards, the server is filled with them. I would like to know if anyone else thinks what I did was RDM and should be punished. What i did is basically going into a room after hearing a shotgun shell coming from the room, and walk in to find a shotgun wielding traitor trying to stuff a detectives body under the sofa seconds after hearing the shot. That's cause alone to kill them right???

So using deduction skills is considered rdm, that's hilarious! Whining? I thought i had a right to considered the amount of BS that is this justice system that punishes any kind of logic and lables it as RANDOM death match. Instead of using basic insult skills how about you explain to me how is killing someone who is obviously a T considering there were only 2 people in the room, and as soon as i left a shot went off, "have you heard of a teleporter" well no shit i have, Except you forgot the part where i spawned in the room with just Amatsu and the detective. and as soon as roles were selected i heard a sniper shot and went back to investigate to find Amatsu trying to hide the body with dna on it. If that is RDM this game is fucked, because the point is to use deduction skills to find out who the traitors are, and if basic deduction skills are outlawed here and considered rdm, you might as well be playing wait who fires the first shot and damages you then kill them, and that sounds like a pretty bland game to me. So please, be constructive with your response, instead of it being filled with low grade insults. "Hiding bodies isn't a T act" I know this, but shooting and killing a detective is a T act, and there was no room for suspicion when the only possibility was that amatsu killed the detective. Being punished for killing an obvious traitor isn't fun, especially when you get slayed for it. Also, The admin who slayed me admitted he was wrong, and mentioned he'd be a witness on the report.

But basically, if you had been more detailed in your response you probably wouldn't have been slain but you didn't witness a T act.

Then again your report on Hirari was a joke so i question your knowledge of the rules at all.

I have been in his position before and was slain for it, yet he gets away with it because hes a mod, but Hirari is a separate incident, not the one being described. That only proves my point when i say whenever i do something people think about that case and judge me for it, yet if any of you witnessed it from my point of view you'd report for RDM. He only did it after i mentioned i was going to the forums to report him for a different issue, one that a VIP witnessed and stood up for me.

 

Hey, I hope your day's been going well despite the confusion over this situation. Let me explain why this situation is considered RDM, and hopefully this clears things up.

1. Hiding a detective's identified body is not traitorous.

2. You killed him because you heard a shot come from his direction. This isn't a game where people just stand still. People move around, and have the ability to teleport. It's very possible that another traitor could have shot you, then teleported or walked out without being seen. Maybe you were correct that he killed you in this instance, but you killed him without solid evidence and in another situation it could easily have been some innocent unfortunate enough to have been walking in the room. Shooting and killing a detective is traitorous, however, you did not personally witness him commit the act. Rather, you assumed that he did it based on external factors that do not suffice as solid evidence. What you did was kill on your suspicion that someone was a traitor, without 100% proof that it was him, and that is RDM.



I apologize that you feel that there's favoritism going on here, but I can assure you that the decision made was not based on anyone's play time or anyone's bias towards Amatsu. If any other player had been in the place of Amatsu, the same verdict would have been reached. You were not slain because staff like you any less than another player. You were slain because what you did is RDM, and it would be exactly the same if any other players were put in your place.
