I need someone to determine if it is RDM, and if so, please make it known to @NappyMatt so he can know that he RDMed me.

We were playing on 67th way, I was in the construction house sniping. I had a disguiser, and a teleporter, which led to behind the construction house. So I was sniping people with a disguiser on, and Matt comes and shoots me. I teleport out, to behind the house. I was near death from his shots. I turn my disguiser off, and start walking away. He comes out of the house, sees I was near the area, and that I am near death, and kills me. But, when he shot me, I had my disguiser on, so there was no way he coudl have known that was me. He never got my name, so this was on suspicion. But he argues that it was logical reasoning. But it is suspicion.

As far as the scenario you're talking about goes on your side, that would be RDM. This is because your name was hidden and you had the ability to move out of the location and disable your disguiser in a timely manner. That means that he killed you for having low health, which is an act of killing on suspicion. However, @NappyMatt should explain so we have the full story.

Alright, I'll give my side of the story:

The round had recently started, and I picked up myself a weaponand headed to the construction house, where Klutch gaming hamster was. This was before he shot anyone, and he was simply close to me, looking around. I noticed he picked up a barret/AWP and kept that in mind, seeing as he was in a popular sniping location. If my memory is correct, I decided to wander off not too far to the roof of the cell house (Don't know it's exact name) and did an overwatch on people, seeing if I could witness traitors kill anyone. I started hearing high caliber sniper shots, and soon saw that it was coming from the construction place. My suspicions of a sniper were confirmed when some person got shot while entering the Ammo store. I made my way to the construction place, using the rope, and saw the sniper (hamster, who was disguised) there. I shot him several times with my semi automatic rifle, before he teleported away. I jump off the building, and end up seeing Hamster there, who was near death. I shoot him, and identify his body, where it stated that he indeed a traitor.

To quickly resume, I've killed hamster because of two reasons:

1- He picked up a high caliber rifle when I saw him at the beggining of the round, which was the same weapon that the "sniper" was using
2- He was near death, and it HAD to be me who dealt him damage, as I landed several shots on him before he managed to escape.

Could you say that I killed him for suspicion? Yes. But it was a strong suspicion. The fact that he was at low health was not my only reasoning to kill him. I can also add that I did not see anyone else enter/leave the construction building, where the shots came from.

Trouble in Terrorist Town is a game where you obviously need to use logic to find the traitors, unless they simply fail to properly kill you. In my mind, at that time, it HAD to be Hamster. It didn't take me long to mark him as "KILL" on my TAB screen and to then find him and kill him. Sorry in advance if my text is a bit shoddy, I've had to write this in a hurry. I'll come back to the thread in an hour or two and see the replies.

  4. If he openly admits to have no other reason than 'logical reasoning' then it's RDM, because he needs real proof other than KOSing on area and/or condition.
This would be KOS on location/condition, and to Matt's reply, he says you were killed because of the weapon you had, a third false reason to kill. So yes, this would be RDM

Yet it was BLATANTLY obvious that he was a traitor. With all due respect, if this is what you guys consider "RDM", then I'll probably hop on some other servers where you aren't penalized for playing the game. This sounds like a joke.

So you basically confirmed Hamster's story. I'm not going to bore everyone with a fancy story here so let's end it here. @NappyMatt , what you did is unfortunately RDM because the name was hidden and you did the following acts that confirms that you killed on suspicion.
Let's talk about those points: our servers do not allow players to kill other players based on weapon since you can easily buy them or find the mon the maps. Our servers do not allow killing players based on the amount of health they have because they could have lost it in a myriad of ways. Our servers do not allow killing on location because others could easily be there by the time you head over there (and it's even more enforced when the killer has a disguiser on). You wouldn't know who shot the person since you didn't see the name (it was hidden). So in the end, all of your actions spell out RDM and therefore, you should have been slain for that act.

If he was watching the construction building to know nobody else was there except Klutch, he could logically deduce that he was the disguised player sniping. From his story, this is exactly what it sounds like.

The issue here is that Hamster had a disguiser on. This means that he didn't see the name at all. Logical deducation doesn't go that far.

Yes it does. If he knew Klutch was the only player there (because he was watching the construction house), then it would be logical to assume Klutch as the disguised player.

That would mean he would have searched the upstairs, downstairs, and knew who was outside of the building as he walked the catwalk to Hamster's location.

Given that info, if he couldn't do any one of the above, it would be RDM.

Hell, for all he knows, someone could have jumped from the roof of the jail, got damaged, and walked behind the building as he climbed the rope and walked around to hamster.

    Nappy did not:
    1. Witness Hamster enable his disguiser
    2. Was not watching the construction building the entirety of the round to confirm that Hamster was the only player in the building
    3. Witness other players enter the building
Overall, this is a classic case of kill on suspicion and unfortunately you would be slain for it.
