Got into an argument with 3 moderators, anarchist, alpha wolf and teezy.
The basis of this argument is that you can kill as a prop, specifically on community pool where you take the bookshelf and place it in the water for people to fall on.

Here are the rules in question

    1. INNOCENT/DETECTIVE Rules
    2. No RDM
    3. No false KOS
    RDM (Innocents/Detectives)
    • Randomly prop damaging or killing.

It clearly says, innocent/detective, not spectator.

Here's what the extended rules have to say

    - If you cause damage to or the death of a player while possessing a prop

Note: It says WHILE possessing a prop. It doesn't say anything about leaving the prop there.

Killing a player with a prop is against the rules, and will be treated like RDM. Blocking people's paths with props can also be considered harassment, and will be dealt with as such.

Note: The action in question is not killing someone with a prop, its them killing themselves with a prop, how is this any different from someone jumping of a ledge into a pool, landing on a prop, and claiming rdm, when there is safe access to said pool?

Next, some actions are traitorous and RDM if done as an innocent. For instance, pushing players off ledges to where they take fall damage, killing/damaging other players with props, and placing props at the bottom of ladders/portals, such as the ladder on community bowling. I give credit to Diekasta for making these guidelines.

    Note: if done as INNOCENT

-The last 3 points of the "Traitorous" section are considered RDM and are slayable if you are an innocent player doing those actions.

Note: If you are INNOCENT, spectators can not be innocent.

Also: If you are possessing a prop and intentionally using it to take away from core gameplay, it will be considered as harassment. The punishment for harassment as a prop are as follows: Warn, Kick, 8 hour ban.

I assume this means using a prop to door block and similar things. This is not the case with the ladder, because you can still take it and it doesn't effect gameplay. Now this is the only part of the argument i am slightly confused on. I am not quite sure what "core gameplay is. I assums it's the same as "basic gameplay."

    Source: wikipedia
Basic gameplay: refers to certain core game mechanics which determine the overall characteristics of the game itself

I think it would be worth wile to maybe clarify what exactly you mean by that, because I'm pretty sure it's not even a real thing.

    Traitorous
Throwing props at a high velocity in the general direction of players.
Pushing people around/getting close to players while carrying explosive props.
Pushing players close to ledges or near anywhere they can take damage.
Pushing players off ledges to a point where they take fall damage.
    Killing/damaging players with props.
Placing props at the bottom of ladders/portals, such as those on community pool and 67th way.

Note that it says TRAITOROUS, not RDM. Spectators can not be traitors.
It is also worth noting that being innocent and preforming a traitorous act is not punishible.

    See:
    Shooting towards players (traitor baiting)
    Not identifying bodies
Having traitor weapons (silenced, knife, harpoon, tear gas, etc)
Approaching another player with an explosive prop (explosive barrel, etc)

I think the rules should be revised, because this isn't the first time I've seen confusion caused by the wording of them.
    sinseriously, Rape Sauce.

    P.S.
    No prop killing as spectator

The definition of prop killing is not really defined, and in most cases usually refers to using gravity to kill as a prop.

It can also be said that you could leave the prop there, and leave the game, and you wouldn't be spectator.

I personally think the definition of this word should be clarified.

I will argue this till the bitter end.
