Just use PC Part picker. It reccomends trusted retailers, and even gives you the cheapest options. Built my own PC using it just last week.

http://www.ncix.com/ is my favorite, got almost all my computer parts from there.

 

I wouldn't solely use PCP. It's good for a general view and to check compatibility but they have some parts missing/have incomplete info sometimes.

 

Hey don't listen to any of these guys. No one on here knows anything about computers. They just bought their stuff from Best Buy.
