Invalid Report against Cthuluhoop

Reason For Report:

Dear Lead Admin,

Yesterday I filed a report on a mod, and now today I am reporting another fellow mod. This time I have proof.

Story

I spawned as a traitor, and went into a cabin. No one was there; therefore, I went back outside and was being called out because I had shot the health station, which is false. I had yet to begin shooting ANYONE and doing ANYTHING. I barely just spawned then died. Your rules state that 1 RDM is a slay. Of course I reported the person, which I believe was Big Al, and I did not receive a response from both Big Al and Cthuluhoop. I had to privately message both players. Big Al did not response; however Cthuluhoop gave interesting responses. Cthuluhoop told me there was a KOS on me; however there was no reason to KOS. Therefore, a false KOS. I have two witnesses that saw how unfair how he/she treated me towards other players. Cthuluhoop was VERY unprofessional how he/she talked to me. For example, Cthuluhoop said “Get over it.” Other mods/admins would usually respond, “im sorry, but …”


The false KOS did not bother me; however how Cthuluhoop treated me was terrible. Also, the retired admin, MangoTango, said " If a player has not commited any traitorous acts and another player KOS's them or randomly damages them, it would be RDM and the player would get slain. If damage is done accidentally, it is still randomly done and still RDM." Additionally, why didn't Cthuluhoop slay the player I reported?


Another note to add is that a “retired admin” had privately messaged me on the forums, stating that he had “military background” and was able to apply to become a mod. Hm.. This does not add up. From what I SEEN and HEARD was that if admins needed a spot, they make an individual a mod if that individual is well behaved. Furthermore, when Cthuluhoop became a mod, didn’t the admin that made him a mod check his background like the “retired admin.” It is obvious that Cthuluhoop does not fit to be a mod anymore. He does not handle situations well. In fact he handles them disprectfully. Other mods/admins are usually nice and not ‘rude’ about reports.

As a result, when I filed a report against Big al (I believe), he handled it very unprofessional. He was disrespectful and was rude to me. He helped me in no way.

I didn't answer you because I didn't see the PM in chat (although something tells me I never received a PM because I usually see them 99% of the time)
To be quite honest I don't even remember this incident so I can't really provide any information relevant to it, but a lot of this story doesn't make a lot of sense.

 

I will respond to clear any confusion that may have come about with the second statement you made; the first is true.

I put my military background and my role as a supervisor in my application; just as any other applicant would. All staff have different backgrounds and those backgrounds, along with personal experiences with the player in-game and the forums, are the factors that help an admin decide to recruit them as a trial mod. I am sure that Cthulu had aomehing on her resume to help the admin make their decisions.

I was there and witnessed that situation. I'm hear if anything needs to be cleared up.

 

If there was a way to screenshot past events, then I would do so.

 

Wait, now I remember the situation. I wasn't the one that KOS'ed or killed her though.

 

Oh, apologies. Who was it? However that does not matter. What matter is how I was mistreated by the mod.

As I told you in game, I can't slay someone for that because I couldn't prove whether you did or did not shoot at the health station. I tried to look in our shot logs and unfortunately nothing was found. At that point, it was word vs word and I can't slay on that. Even with a third person(who is your friend) was a "witness", it is still word vs word and I -can't- slay for it.

You had your friend that had nothing to do with the report bother me about it after I had told you no, to which I told you both to drop it. By this point it was 3 rounds after your initial report.

The detective KOS'd you for shooting at his health station and I was not spectating to witness it, so I had no way to say who was or was not telling the truth.

 

Nothing here can be construed as particularly unprofessional or rude. Just blunt and brusque. I will be sure to have Cthulhu walk through the reasoning behind their slays or lack of slays in the future. Report is Invalid, but a lesson will be taken from it.
