I think the "Canon" is loose enough so that whichever team you are on you can say are the good guys or bad guys, whichever you wanna be.
Jihad isn't in the gamemode TTT by default. In SeriousTTT (excluding Vanilla) however, and other servers with Jihad addon, portrays Traitors as TRUE Terrorists. But servers without the Jihad addon portrays Traitors as good people. The Jihad add-on basically changes what Traitors are
