Probably not. From what I've been told it's a lot of work to add a new weapon due to balancing and such. And as you can imagine is the case in most internet communities, somebody will always take issue with something no matter what it is, particularly when it comes to weapons, so I doubt any new weapons will be added. It's too much of a hassle.
Because you are a newer member of the community, you wouldn't know that the weapon list we play with now isn't the original one for STTT. Highwon adds weapons as he sees fit.
I never said there have never been new weapons added. I'm saying that by now the server has probably been through so many weapons that, in my opinion, it's very doubtful new ones will be added. I don't think (could be wrong) any new weapons have been added since I've been here and I've been here since June. The only thing I've noticed that has been added has been a new jihad sound, the Moxxxi skin and a couple new maps.
Weapons? Add more? You already have a fucking insta kill gun and its hidden in your Magneto Stick... #Nerf
there is no gun in the game where a magnet stick insta kills you in any of the severs so it would be nice to have something like it but its not there
I wish we could get more guns, but they would reguire balancing to personally fit into the servers and I don't know if Highwon has time for it.
We are always open to adding new content to our servers, but we have high standards for quality and we also consider whether adding the particular content will benefit the player experience and if the cost outweights the benefits. For example, there are some really good maps out there but they are up to 100-200mb in size, so the cost (requiring players to wait a long time for download) outweighs the benefit of having a cool new map.
