So yesterday, I got a report from one of the traitors in the map alps which said that I had RDM him. From my perspective, I heard gunshots at the main house and I was at one of the doors at the moment. I then saw two people next to the body and began to mark them as suspicious. They both turned towards me and looked at their surroundings to see if anyone else was there. One of them turned back and started to shoot me and I fired back. I shot one of them (the guy that didn't shoot at all) and later killed both of them. I killed them because I thought that since they were checking their surroundings and that one of them shot me; I could kill both of them.
Is this reasonable to think that this is by GBA? If not, I need some clarification on that rule. Later, I waited a couple of rounds for a mod/admin to show up but I had to leave after that because I have to wake up early for Saturday classes. Sorry I didn't make this appeal sooner, I was asleep by then and today I just got back from my classes.​

Hello Matt,

Thank you for taking the time to make this appeal. I joined the West server to handle a forum report and while doing so I took care of a few in-game reports from a round on the map Alps. You were one of the reported players, the report filed against you was made by the second traitor you killed in that round, Vincent. In that report and in this appeal you claim Guilty by Association, however both of the traitors you killed never shot at you or shot you as seen in the damage logs below. Seeing this, you would have been slain twice due to the fact no one shot you and killing another player without reasonable extension. If no one shot you, nobody was Guilty by Association considering no one committed any traitorous act or witnessed someone commit one. Once I joined the server and made a verdict on the report, you were long gone and as a result were banned for RDM and Leave.

I could have sworn that one of them shot at me but the logs proves that they didn't shoot. This is my fault entirely. However in the future, if I accidentally rdm and there are no mods/admins on at that time is there any way to let them know that I need to take a slay before I need to leave?

 

You may add a staff member or ask a staff member on shoutbox to join the server and slay you, or you can take the extra effort to report yourself on the forums.
