Today, apple will hosting a huge event with expected releases of things like the iPhone 6, an iWatch, iOS 8, and more. What do you think of it all? What do you want to see? Android users, begone, you are not welcome in this realm. Seriously though, please do not thread hijack and make this a flame war. Be respectful in the comments, thank you.
1) iOS 8 was already announced a WHILE AGO! There's been a developer beta out for a while. 2) iPhone 6 is obvious 3) Apple iWatch is meh to me. 4) Possible Mac maybe. Anyways, I'm excited since I'm a damn tech lover. EDIT: New iPod Touch as well?
As a Droid use I personally don't care I don't like IOS or apple in general however. It does seem interesting to me why they decided to do one giant huge release at this time of year rather than waiting till a better sales time such as December.
I dislike Apple very much however it is weird that they are doing a mass reveal of things officially.
I agree, but also if there is a great invention that will help people, I think it would be smart to add it.
Ohhhhh yeah, they have. It seems like they're finally releasing a bigger phone just to keep up with how well the Galaxy phones have been doing. That and with the upcoming release of the "iWatch" while Samsung has had one since the most recent Galaxy Note.
I think the samsung watch was a huge flop, and apples watch seems to be better and have what samsung didn't. As for the bigger phones, society is adapting to bigger phones, and apple must adapt with them. I don't believe it's necessarily a copy of samsung, but simply fitting to the consumer's needs.
The Apple Watch is sexy but the price point is a little too high, I think there'll be a sales jump when they drop the price and put out an updated version in a year or two. Apple Pay is a cool system, I know NFC and the like have been around for a while but with Apple Pay it's becoming available to a large new set of people and has a better chance of becoming standardized. I don't like the size jump of the iPhone 6 Plus, but I like the design, so I think I'll be getting a 6 or a 6s if it's gonna come out next year. Jony Ive and Tim Cook might be better at selling me stuff than Steve Jobs was.
