Kos's MUST follow after a players name.

I'm tired of ghosters quickly popping in their voice chat to false kos traitors, then say " I dont know who kos'd you" just to avoid a slay. This rule should be applied so that we know who false kos's, or makes a proper kos.

Example : I call a false kos on player X. Player X dies by player Y and is reported for RDM. Player Y responds " I heard a kos" Player X then says " By who?" . Y says " I dont know, i just heard one". And since I didnt say that i called a kos, i got away with false kosing. The point here is to have the name of the kos'er before you kill the targeted player.

You do realize that when someone uses push to talk, they're name is in the top left of the screen?

Whenever someone calls a KOS, i mark them as "Suspect" just in case it's false.

yea, i know it shows, but people keep on saying that they dont know who calls kos's, and as a result, i get false kos'd without the koser being slain for said false kos.

In this I would ask player x and y if they know who called the kos. If they say I don't know or something along those lines it's his fault and the mods can't do anything about it unless they know who called it. By the way a T can call as much false kos's as they want. Just not on their own T buddies.

Ok so basically he's saying if a inno calls a false kos on someone and they die, and they don't know who called the kos then there getting away with a potential rdm. Which he pwner wants changed, and I'm explaining what he needs to do to. Lol it is confusing just try to read through it and understand the best you can

So basically what you are saying is that you're fucked unless a mod hears who calls the kos.

No no, if you know for a fact who called the kos the. You can just tell the mod that and he should further investigate by asking the player why he called the kos ect. You can also ask any other players if they heard who called the kos. But like I said before if a traitor called the kos then the problem is solved because traitors are allowed to call random kos's just not on their traitor buddies.

Well what happened to make me post this was there were multiple people talking at once, and some ghoster, that i dont know the name of, called a false kos on me for no reason, and people were killing me, on my t round, and they got away with it. I asked the players who called the kos, and " I dunno" was my answer

Unfortunately in that situation there's not really anything we can do. What do you mean by some ghoster called the kos? If your talking about ghosting well this and that are two totally different things. Ghosting is using third party chat to inform player of in-game events they are not yet aware of.

That's why I urge staff not to mute living players while dead and pay as close attention as possible when staffing. I always had numerous times when a player reports RDM and never heard their KOS that was actually called.

by ghosting i mean, thats the only way they could know i was the traitor, because on that round, all i done was go inside of an elevator on the map bank.

Perhaps, of they could just be doing it just because there trolls. But I hope I had answered your questions and if you have any others feel free to ask.

-1 for this from me, personally.

If someone isn't paying attention enough to look on the top of their screen to see who is calling out the KoS, then they're not going to pay attention when said person calls out that name. Most likely, all they're going to hear is the keywords 'KoS X'. With this rule, X would be the KoS'er, and would essentially KoS the KoS'er to anyone not fully listening.

Not to mention, what are we going to punish people with if they don't follow this rule? You can't slay someone for not going out of their way to make themselves known for calling out a KoS. A gag/mute would just prevent them from calling out correct KoS's in the future, and a kick or ban is just a ridiculous concept.

The punishment for the rule would be a warn/slay depending on the situation, knowing that nothing is going to be done about this, lock the topic
