Night Staff; What to do.

In light of recent events, a lot of great people have been lost. The face of our staff team has changed radically, for better or worse. Whatever the case, the community will push on. We welcome you to apply regardless of what time you can offer. With that being said, my colleagues Thorn and Nena are responsible for the Night-Team, and we are always looking for members to add to our team. If you are interested in becoming a moderator for the Night-Team, you should put under your "Times Available" part "Volunteer for Night staff along with the times you believe you can cover for example, 2am-7am". You may also leave a post on this thread, if you so wish. We will be considering everyone who offers their help with the Night schedule. We appreciate anyone who is willing to help out.

If you're welling to help out being a night time mod,
You can make an application or make an update on your application basically saying "I'm on at night"
Please note, this server's based in America so be weary of timezones.

 

" I'm on at night" doesn't necessarily specify if you are able to be working the night shift. Night time can be from 6pm to 6am. Saying "I can work the 2 am to 12am shift" is better.

 

If you are applying for night staff, it will help to put something like (STR Night Staff) in the title of your application.

Also, I want to remind all applicants that a night staff position cannot always be a "stepping stone" to you becoming a regular mod in the future. If you are chosen to become a Night Mod, I wouldn't expect to get yes for an answer if I asked my admin to then be switched over to a regular admin. A big factor in you being chosen would be that 75% of your requirement time as a moderator would have to be in your Night Admin's assigned time frame, and when that is suddenly not doable, you will rarely be able to be switched to regular hours.

It's just a reminder, @McMuffin can choose to put it in the original post if he wishes.

 

Yes, this is 100% true. If you are recruited into the Night team, you will be expected to do the Night frame, which is 2am-12pm PST. If you suddenly cannot perform your duties at this time, DO NOT expect to be traded to another admin.

 

Converting PST to EST 11 A.m - 9 P.M is feasible for me @McMuffin sign me up.
