Yeah cus you would totally put your REAL D.o.b into a paying account... Just put it as 69 or something. Plus Paypal is free and you dont need to set up a credit card
VIP + is 20$ + 10$ every month. You do not need to be a specific age to use it, and if you do you could just lie about it. When I first made my paypal account I was 11, it really doesn't matter, as long as you have a way to make the payment (bank account, credit card, etc.) Also, this isn't gonna happen. You honestly don't get anything out of VIP+, just a slight difference in the prices of items, a few extra skins, a gernade, and a few extra jihad sounds. If you want a permanent VIP+ then stick with VIP.
I kinda have to agree with this... I know a lot of people are gonna disagree with this comment but I do believe those perks are there for more than just "thanking" you for donating. They're there as an incentive to motivate people to donate. If we didn't need them to get donations, why do we have them? If you're going to reply with "it's a way of repaying/thanking the donator", that isn't really valid. A warmhearted Thank You from the community should be thanks enough. I also disagree with making VIP+ a perma-buy. I find it sad that you're trying to squabble your way into a relatively easy-buy like a lousy cheapskate. You should even know that this isn't likely to happen, and better yet would make you look bad, especially when you're trying to keep it alive with these petty arguments. Also, you kinda sold the status-quo when you say that 99.99% of people donate for the items. If they really want the items, then they will be willing to pay for it. If you're not willing to pay the monthly fee then you really don't want those VIP+ items and therefore have no real reason to complain.
Donating $10 a month isn't that bad, to keep the server up and running, Come to think of it, Highwon started funding the server, and all money made from donation will be used to keep the server up and running.
-1, I donated to get the items, not gonna lie there. But if you feel that the perks aren't worth it, and don't feel obligated to help out the server with the costs then don't get VIP+, it should only be for those who are truly dedicated to the server, to the fullest extent. Also if everyone just pays 50$ for VIP+ once, then the server will get big amounts of cash at once, but that will wither away eventually, the server will go down, and people will get mad that they spent a bunch of money on a server that crashed and burned, while a steadier income of 10$ per person a month will keep it running forever. Feels similar to the saying: if you give a man a fish he is fed for a day, if you teach him how to fish, he is fed for a lifetime.
Actually, I donated because this community is great, except for that Kenny guy, but I do get your point there. I agree and disagree, they are there to motivate, sure I get that, that AK47 is looking very promising, but if you really enjoy the server, you wont just do it for the perks. You will do it to keep this server alive, some of you probably think, well Highwon probably just pockets the cash. I doubt it 100%. Dedicated servers are insanely expensive, sure having the low one time payment for Donator and VIP are awesome and everything, but the servers are to be paid every month. Therefore, lets say the server is just full of 100s of VIPs, sure, that's a lot of money which went in, but without the monthly 10$ fee, the bills for the servers are required every month, not a one time payment, Highwon can't pay for the server, they cut it off for him, and that, is hopefully never to happen. If you haven't noticed, we have players from the ages of a child to an adult. It is not of the mentality of the child or even the parent's mentality that they are a cheapskate, think about it. 50$ to a server on a game, which you have no idea if it will be up forever as these servers are hosted by people like me and you, not big companies who all they worry about is how much money they make. Doesn't exactly sound very inviting to me. Also, it is a suggestion, you do not need to be so rude about it. I don't think he looks bad, he was just suggesting something in which the community replies with their opinion and then sees if it's to get implemented. I completely agree with this. Now finally to my opinion: I disagree with this, in my opinion, this can lead to problems in the future as mentioned above.
