Rejected New Donator/Vip/Vip+ colors. Bronze/silver/gold

I saw a thread asking to change the vip colors.. I don't want to hijack that thread by suggesting colors different from the OP's colors. So here's mine. How about we make the ranks have a metallic texture? I'm not sure if this is possible, but i think it would look BADASS!

Donator = bronze, something like this metallic texture.


Vip would be silver, something like this.


and vip+ would be gold, something like these.

 

Could you at least use a color code to come up with these actual colors? I don't think a metallic texture would work on Gmod.

 

Only way it would work is if every other letter would be a different color I believe. Or if it was like textured letters put into a logo/picture small enough for the tab menu. Something like that I guess.

I don't think grey would work with current regular member colors and with it being so close to normal text. And then donor looks like poop.

 

Not saying i agree with the idea. I was simply providing examples of what it looks like if we were to use these colors.

 

Yeah I was thinking applying textures to texts might be a little difficult, I think I've seen it on other servers though. @Highwon @Zikeji is this possible at all?

 

Alright, I don't think these colors would look good at all unless they had some shininess to them, to make them look metallic. I'd like to leave this thread open, in case anybody has more input. Without the shiny, I wouldn't want these colors haha.
