Why you should be unbanned:

Its only my 2nd time playing. I joined the server and my first game in Darth West banned me. I was an Innocent and told everyone to back away from me because I didnt trust them. When I left and went to find my own hiding stop people kept trying to force their way in. I kept repeating myself but people wouldnt listen so I was forced to defend myself. After that people started to flame me and Darth West wouldnt even take my side of the story into consideration. I am new and I am learning the game. It doesnt seem right to ban somebody for 5 days when they are learning. This community just makes me sad that somebody cant come and try to learn a new game. People should be more supportive. I understand Darth was just doing his job, but he seems a little to excited with the ban hammer.​

Thank you I really appreciate your speedy response. I just dont think its right to get banned by some 17 yr old with a ban hammer without being able to tell my side of the story, and for 5 days? Doesn't that seem a little excessive?

 

Well hello Zeltus how has your day been going? I honestly hope its been a great day, for personally I am in a great mood.

That being said I will proceed by telling you why you were banned for 5 days for "Mass RDM +4". I believe that you broke one of our rules "no claiming rooms". After puting my first slay on you for rdm from the first and only report against you in which you said "they were shooting at me". Which the guy you killed never fired a single shot. So after the first slay I saw this



After this I started to investigate this further and found these rdms.

You claimed a room and proceeded to kill every single person that came into that room. Also in regards to me not listening to your side of the story, I did not. For you would not tell me your story and proceeded to ignore me. Since you mass Rdmed and failed to read the motd, your appeal will be denied. If my admin @Carned feels that I have wronged you or I have acted wrongly then he will inform of such.

So first off I didnt like the fact that you banned me from trying to plead my case after you posted your response. I do however thank you for getting back to this so fast and I thank you for unbanning me so I can post here. Alright so I didnt know the rule about no taking rooms, but as you said you didnt even let me plead my case before you banned me. I cant type that fast and I was trying to write back to you but you kicked me before I could even get a response down. I wasnt ignoring you, I just dont know all the buttons to directly talk to you. So I was trying to type in chat. Yes I admit to killing those people, but not without trying to protect myself. All I am saying is dont you think 5 days is too much? As you can clearly see I just recently made this account so I am new to your servers, wouldnt like 2 games slayed be more justified?

 

you were given a entire round to respond to why you killed those people and you only gave explaination of you claiming a room. From what has been said by you, I believe that the ban was not invailed nor false. From what you have said it shows that you did rdm those people.

My first answer is no I dont think that 5 days is that much. For if people want to mass rdm then they can go to other servers and we have 5 servers. So being banned from one of them is not the end of the world. Mods have to follow the motd very strictly, that being said just because your new does not allow me to deviate from the punishments that the higher ups have given us.

 

I tried to respond to you but couldnt because you were dead. It wasnt until I was dead that I was able to communicate with you and at that point you just straight out banned me. At this point it kind of seems like you are telling me that you have no empathy for anyone and everything is black and white. I feel like this train of thought is wrong and you have to take into consideration a human element.

 

Well its obvious at this point that you just dont care, I guess this appeal was just a waste of time. I really thought for being such a serious server forum that it would have been handled more professionally.

 

Trust me I am human. I cry, laugh, get angry, and love. I do have empathy for people but in terms of rdm everything is black and white. Even if you dont know Gmod rdm is still rdm and if your new to the server rdm is rdm. In this game not everything is black and white but what you did was. While it is true that i have no say in the punishment there were humans that made the punishments so there is a human element in it.

I do care and I am trying my best to deal with this. If you feel that I have been unprofessionally then you can talk to my higher ups about it.

 

Since you have found this appeal to be a waste of time and I am assuming dont want to contine you this will be locked

 

I was considering accepting this appeal after our conversation but after this post it will remained, Denied.
