West 2 server got ruined

playing west 2 everyone was having fun there were some rdms but they were total accidents and nobody even cared. All of a sudden an admin joins and bans like 3 people who were participating in the game nobody was mad at them or anything it was like a karma ban or something. After a while it gets pretty boring cause everyone was afraid of accidently breaking the rules and getting slain/ban. I didn't get banned or slain once but all i'm saying is I think the admins take the rules way too seriously and its kind of a bad experience when theres someone being a complete nazi. I understand there are rules for a reason but I think the admins should loosen up a bit. This is my total opinion and I beleive there are many other players who had this experience with me that could back me up. I'm not starting an argument i'm just giving my experience so please don't reply with stupid shit like "if you don't like it leave". I do like the server i'm just trying to help improve it by posting this. I play video games for fun or enjoyment and i'm sure thats what everyone else plays it for. A creative response would be appreciated like I said before this isn't an argument so nobody should be attacking my post.

I couldn't care less if people didn't care about the RDM, I was called to West 2 to deal with RDM so clearly people had a problem with it.

Not to mention the constant harassment you and many other have given me for the last hour or so, you're lucky you aren't banned as well.

 

Hey Masturch, I'm sorry if you found your time here on SeriousTTT unpleasant. The staff on our servers take their responsibilities as staff members seriously. If you and other players on the server are breaking rules defined on the !motd you will be punished accordingly. Here at SeriousTTT we have a strict but simple set of rules to keep it fun & enjoyable for everyone. Your definition of fun might be different from the majorities.

 

The mods of this community's servers are required to enforce the rules whether they or you like it or not.
And according to Carned's reply

Harassing a staff member or player is punishable, the fact Carned didn't enforce that rule means you were lucky in this situation.

I, for one, don't like RDM and very unwelcoming of it. If you love it then I would honestly suggest finding another server that fits you.
All because the current server's player welcome each other and RDM each other, doesn't mean some other players find it uncomfortable or unwelcoming. Which the staff of this server try to diminish that feeling amongst players and make a fun and friendly environment for everyone.

Dude Carned was a complete ass, he came in a banned 2 people for no reason when we were all having a good time. we asked carned to let them back in and he refused. Then carned was slaying people for stupid reasons and then when the people he was slaying asked for assistance he ignored them. the server litterally went to shit as soon as carned came in. people stopped talking and couldnt even have a good time, when we asked him to chill out we just got threatened with slays or told we didnt matter. an admins job is to put the players first. no one was breaking rules but he was being a dick. i wont be returning, nor will my friends. My friend wasted 20 fucking dollars for vip on this shit and then got slayed and banned. fucking badmin.

 

I don't think carned read about the this isn't an argument which is exactly why I left her/his name out of it you're taking this too seriously. I wasn't breaking rules on west 2 I learned my lesson on west 1 lol. But what i'm saying is that a lot of these rdms are accidental it happens you get scared cause you see bodies and a dude with a gun pointing at you and you shoot. I've been rdm'd accidently several times and i've decided not to report because it's unnescarry. but people got banned for karma and kinda sucked that the person had to go cause it was super fun.

 

yeah the karma bans were fucking dumb we were all having a good time and no one was reporting shit, if an RDM happened it happend we were having fun. no one was fucking complaining so anyone who ran to get an adminshould have fucking switched to west1 because 23 fucking people were having a great time adn loving hte server. then carned come in followed by some annoying ass people who kept "shoot me shootme i dare you" and theyd walk into you bullets then kill you and carned would fucking slay the guy who got killed because "he dmged first" learn to do your fucking job

 

la vie i dont like rdm i fucking hate it. What i'm talking about is accidental rdm, it's annoying as fuck when you run into a room of people fighting and you gotta fight for your life so you just kill everything to survive the crossfire thats my natural instict in fps games man. I know you guys have a job as admins to enforce the rules but maybe you guys should only ban the people who get reported. If people don't mind because it's an accident and they don't report but that person gets banned for bad karma it kinda sucks. People know when it's an accident and when its not.

 

Well if @Carned really did that then you two should make a report on him via here, due to mods not being allowed to threaten players with slays for such reasons. Unless you (or others) were constantly harassing Carned then it was justifiable.

Accidental RDM's are still RDM.

They were banned for RDM with No Staff, It might be fun for you and your friends to RDM but the other players weren't happy with it, thats why i was called to the server.

I was slaying people simply because they RDM'd.

People did the opposite of stop, you and your friends continued to spam the chat with "#Unbanclock" or #FreeClock along with harassment towards me.

I never threatened you with slays, I'd love to see proof of that, i just told you that i don't care about your opinion on me or your attempts to !VoteKick.

Also your claims on "no reports" i joined the server only to see 10 reports for that map.

And i only slay following the rules, i've been a staff member here for 6 months, i know what is a slay and isn't so i think it's impossible for you to judge on my reports.

If you're friends with him on steam or other platforms, ask him to appeal it on the forums. The staff will evaluate to unban him or not ^-^
Otherwise don't spam the forums/servers with that<3

Im just going to lock this, i did my job and you are just upset because you couldn't RDM at your own will.

Plenty of servers will allow RDM we are not one of them.

 

If you want to Mass RDM then I suggest going back to CS. I'm sure Angelx would be more than happy to keep you company there.
