Reason For Report: Jake [Apollo] abusing by slaying for a round.

Details of incident: How it started? I was on Serious TTT East, the current map is ttt_Whitehouse. As I was playing on the server I heard a shotgun blast and death. I was not so far from that direction that I heard it from. I came that direction, I was heading near the bank of weapons. I noticed that no bodies were identified from the second I have heard the death by shotgun. The only player from that direction was *The ChrisMan*. I came over there and I saw a glance of the dead body inside the bank of weapons through the bullet proof glass window, near the door. He passed by me and I turned around and shot him to death. The round has ended and he was a traitor.

After the round I came to the bank of weapons and found the player who he had killed. He was trying to run away from the guy who he has killed obviously. When the round ended *The ChrisMan* reported me for the reason of RDM. I put in the report that he killed a guy. When the next round started Jake [Apollo] was going to slay my for a round. I typed in admin chat @Wait why? and @He killed a guy. He didn't even give an explanation or tell me why he was slaying me, but I knew why. I waited for the response from him in psay. He never responded and I have had to sit through my slay that I did not deserve or accepted. Jake said to the staff that he was spectating me and he said I didn't see the body.

This is my point of view of this situation.

I did witness this, I was dead and did happen to watch part of this. I was 100% positive that it was a legitimate kill, hence why I pretty instantly marked the report as "Finished". From what I saw, the body was indeed visible, and the player was shot in the back. CDriscoll and I both told Jake that we believed strongly that it was a false slay, in which he replied, in all caps, " I was spectating him" and then "JESUS CHRIST". If Jake had consulted with us, this wouldn't have been a problem at all, just a quick fix.

 

Exactly. The thing that bothers me the most about this wasn't the slay but it was the lack of communication and hostility towards us from Jake. I'm still standing with my thoughts that this was an unfair slay because she says she saw the unid'ed bodies. Jake claims that he was spectating her upon death and that there was no way she could have seen them.

 

Did you check the Logs to see if the Reported player ID'd any bodies after killing the player who reported them?

 

The reported player did not ID the bodies.
:edit: sorry, i thought you meant the person who was killed. Anyhow, Lollust Id'ed the body of the T and the un id after the round ended.

 

So you caught a glance of a dead body through some bullet proof glass? It was your assumption that the body was unidentified? Or could you see the unidentified title above the body?

 

So the Victim was the last t, but where was the position of the Body, because a user has to walk past/over the unided not just be in the vacinity.

Also you cannot see if a body is IDed through glass, so you would have assumed it was Unided.

 

Pretty much those 2 players were the only ones over there. *The ChrisMan* and another player were there. *The ChrisMan* killed him I came over there and saw the glance of the dead body. *The ChrisMan* tried to run away and he passed by me so I shot him to death from behind with a shotgun right after he passed by me. After the round I did identify the player *The ChrisMan* killed. Of course the body is unidentified cause *The ChrisMan* didn't identify the guy, it was a kill and run. After I killed *The ChrisMan* I came over there and came to check that unIDed body

 

So you assumed that the dead body you caught a glimpse of was unID'd?

 

If you just assumed the body was unidentified, then the slay was justified. @CDriscoll @Jake [Apollo] @McMuffin

 

But did you see that it was unidentified?

 

I know I'm not part of this report, but I'd like to clarify what they're asking. Before you killed The ChrisMan and the round ended, did you see that his victim was unidentified?

Lollust deleted it, but it was clearly stated that she killed him on suspicion.

 

If she had seen the unid'd tag over the body, it would not be RDM though. They were the last 3 alive and she saw an unid'd body. That's what lollust told us though. I think we need to see what she says about it. If there was no unid'd tag, then it was suspicion.

 

Yea, it would seem that she did not see that the bodies were unidentified. I would have prefered for Jake to have consulted with CD and I, and we could have asked her in-game if she saw the unidentified text over the body, but atleast we know the full story instead of just what was seen in spectator.

 

I edited it to another comment and I didn't want to make a super big deal about the slay he gave me and make it into a report. I just wanted to message this situation out with Jake but he does not want to reply to me. Yes, the slay was valid.

Although, I would end this off with Jake posting but he's currently offline.
