Moderator Staff Section Should be Opened.

I would like to purpose opening up the moderator section of the staff only forums. Before begining I would like to address some misguided concern.

The staff-only section of the forums includes many threads that contain sensitive information. Toxicity case files, staff absence, staff face reveals, information about where staff members live, guides to catching hackers and metagamers, etc... The list goes on. There is simply too much sensitive information (8-years-worth) in this section to just open it up to the public.

I would like to address most of the concerns here.

Toxicity case files: No one cares about toxic behavior. You can't use the case files against a server that doesn't exist.

Staff absence: Again no one cares. Who cares if someone is going to be absent during the third week of July in 2014.

Staff face reveals: If you believe that your face among the thousands of reveals in the public channel matter you are mistaken. Also just delete the thread if you want this.

Information on Location: If you believe your IP is safe in this community you are wildly mistaken. Also knowing about previous staff leaks you shouldn't be putting your address in said channel. I have never seen someone put their actual address in said forum.

Guides to catching hackers and metagamers: You must live on some high horse to believe this matters. If you hack on TTT West good on you because that only exists in your own mind.

There is simply too much sensitive information (8-years-worth) in this section to just open it up to the public.

This sentiment comes from people who believes that for some reason the staff are trust worthy and the general populace is not. This is simply untrue as most of the worst parts of this community was current and ex staff.

This community is dead, bottom line. No one cares anymore and no one will. Let the people that remain have some amount of fun.

It's funny you would call me upset for posting in a dead community, but just imagine how devastated you have to be to defend a dead community from a thread that will never go anywhere.
