First of all, I didn't realize you had posed that question.

Absentee ballots exist because sometimes people aren't around to be able to go to the polls on election day, and so states came up with a system through which they could send ballots out to people and they could send the ballots back. This isn't a new thing. People have voted absentee for a very long time. This isn't a new thing by any stretch of the imagination.

As to why they are "forcing" people? I don't know man... maybe there is a pandemic going on? Oh shit! Maybe it would be better if we didn't go to a crowded polling place and risk infection. Furthermore, some polling stations have lines that take up to 7 hours to get through. Voting by mail is faster, easier, and more convenient. However, I want to point out that Democrats aren't forcing anybody to do anything. I've actually done voter registration drives for the democratic party and I've helped people get registered to vote, been in meetings where we talk about strategy to influence younger voters TO VOTE, and do you know what we always say? We say that people should vote in any way they can. Be that in person or be that by mail. I think biden has said the same?

Now let me ask you a question, Rozboob, why are the republicans so against mail in ballots? They've existed for years. Why the frustration now?

Every dumb news story headline about a dog registering to vote and or ballots in a waste paper basket are just one off incidents of somebody fucking up. Is it a good thing? No. Is it an active conspiracy to rig the election against Republicans? Absolutely not. It seems more likely that an increase in Mail in voting would probably encourage younger people and minorities to vote more, and that scares Republicans because that isn't their base. Well, maybe they should try to appeal more to those voting groups instead of actively trying to limit their ability TO vote.

But oh well, just another con job by Nancy Pelosi and the Illuminati I guess.

Holy fuck do you know English? Theres a difference between the mail in ballot system they are pushing and absentee ballots, hence why i said absentee ballots EXIST already.

Did you read my link to your favorite news site NYtimes? Did you read what meme said? If you want to ignore blatant things in front of you then why bother?

    Also
Not the question I was talking about, the other ones,

    difference between reduce and prevent?

    How does covid spread?

Oh and to add onto it
Do you agree with people going out to protest?
Do you denounce the riots or do you promote it?

If you have no problem with people protesting during a pandemic then you really need to shut the fuck up about people voting in person during a pandemic.

Edit* I'm also curious as to what your day job is?

Imagine that, even biden voted in person during a pandemic.

I stand with Trump on this one, though I'd rather stand with a 3rd party if they'd win.
I have heavily followed PizzaGate since 2015, and every person known to be involved endorses Biden
Biden has claimed Antifa isnt a group but an idea.. I beg to differ, I know people who have been assaulted by said "idea"
    Trump has:
lowered the costs of medicines and obama care
    lowered gas taxes
brought more jobs to america prior to covid (lowest unemployment rate in years)
Got out of the Paris Accord giving us cheaper more affordable electric bills
repealed most things Obama brought to the table that screwed us

Not to mention, Biden wants to potentially throw more seats into the supreme court if not given his way with the current open seat. He also plans to go back into the paris deal, which will raise taxes. Dems are known for hire taxes, republicans are known for lower. I like my money!

I am counting that as a dodge. You didn't answer my question this time. Besides, what did meme say? I was like pretty sure he was joking lol.
Oh. I figured he was joking. Besides, even if you got 2 ballots you can only cast one of them. They match the ballots to the person. As to why he didn't get one? Fuck idk man, maybe he didn't request one and his sister did? Maybe they fucked up? Idk. I don't deal in anecdotes. For all I know he is just meming. Why waste my time?

I did read the new york times article and I didn't think it was that impressive. A third party vote printer fucked up (because god bless capitalism), and the city plans to resend new ballots to those affected. It was a fuck up, but it is being fixed and it seems to be a one off thing.

Also you must be stupid if you think that the democrats are creating a brand new thing called "mail in voting," because that just isn't the case lol. They are referring to absentee ballots. They are the same thing lol.

Difference between reduce and prevention? You ask some weird ass questions. True, the name of the game is reduce not prevent. It would be impossible at this point to prevent Covid 19, especially since we have no vaccine. All we can do is reduce the spread and reduce individual risk of infection by wearing masks, hand washing, and social distancing. Happy?

Covid spreads through respiratory droplets and aerosols

Dude what the fuck are you on? You trying so hard to make me look bad lol. When the fuck did I ever talk about the protests in my most recent posts? here I'll simplify it for you: the rioting is bad, it looks bad, hurts the overall protesting message, and as such should stop. Protesting however needs to continue. Also, I don't think there is any logical inconsistency there between people protesting and people going to the polls. Am I not allowed to sympathize with their message, while also having concern that the protests may spread COVID? They do need to protest, and they will protest, regardless of what the CDC has to say. That being said, everyone needs to vote, either by person or by absentee ballot, and those who are concerned about catching COVID should be able to avoid the polling station. Does that not make sense? Am I crazy?

My day job? Uh... what? O.O

I love you gimcsnooper... but omg...

    1) Pizzagate is a conspiracy theory that was debunked when a man shot up a restaurant trying to locate kids in the basement... when the place had no basement...
    2) I mean, it is an idea technically, but yes, you could argue that people take that idea to the extreme. Fuck antifa or whatever the fuck. I doubt biden supports them though lol.
    3) Lowered the cost of medicines and obama care? https://www.politifact.com/factchec...hecking-donald-trumps-claim-drug-prices-are-/ I am not sure what you mean by "lowered costs of obama care"
    4) Unemployment rate has been trending down since 2010. https://tradingeconomics.com/united...ent Rate in the United, percent in May of 1953. I would argue that a president doesn't have much control over this anyways. It isn't like the president can forcefully create millions of jobs. Sure, they can incentivize job creation, but whether that actually works is a product mostly of market forces. I mean, if you did want to play partisan politics you could argue that Obama decreased unemployment more than Trump has... but I don't see that to be the case either. Seems like the normal unemployment rate is somewhere between 3 and 6 percent, and the uptick was the 2008 recession. Therefore, the downward trend may just be an example of us "getting back to normal." Again, I am a huge believe that the president has very little say in what the unemployment rate is. Though, they'll take credit for that shit in a heartbeat.
    5. This one just isn't true. All of our contributions to the Paris climate accord were voluntary. Also, I am not sure what you mean by making our electric bills more affordable? That likely isn't the case. Furthermore, the act of removing us from the paris climate agreement was more or less symbolic, as many companies and states still recognize the goals that we set. In fact, 24 states to be clear. Trump may not recognize climate change, but companies and states do, and the free market is already trending towards renewable energy anyways, as fossil fuels are dying and green energy is becoming cheaper.
    6. Can you name one thing that Obama put into law that screwed you personally? The only thing I can think of is the individual mandate, which was a stupid part of the ACA. Other than that, I am at a loss...

    Basically, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
