winchester 1873 should cause heads to explode upon headshots

it's the only thing wrong with the weapon

The gun doesnt use high powered ammo like snipers do. It uses shotgun ammo.

 

i mean, this seems like a pointless distinction for the sake of 'realism' that does not exist in this game lol. it's a slow-firing weapon that always instakills on headshot, should be able to pop heads just like snipers. the HK SL8 in real life is a semi-automatic rifle with relatively low powered ammo, but it still pops heads

 

It doesnt always instakill though. It doesnt have any headshot multipliers so theres a small chance that you dont one shot someone.

 

i mean, if that's the case, that should be changed so that it does guarantee an instakill on headshot considering that weapons which are much easier to use with equally scarce ammunition have guaranteed headshot kills too. and then once that's fixed, it should be able to explode heads too. :3

 

Doubt that'll happen, made a bug report ages ago about it not instakill headshotting (even though it's the same as a rifle) and shotgun ammo was given as the reason

Don't see highwon changing it even though it's what people have wanted/why people barely use it

If it does get changed, then yes headshot explode would be alrighto
