I destroyed two explosive barrels on Community bowling. While I was doing that two people were walking in that general direction. Before they got to the barrels I gave them a warning saying I was going to blow up the barrels and that they should get back. One of them stopped completely while the other one ignored me and continued walking. The one that stopped was damaged, while the one person that continued walking died. The person that was walking reported me and in the report I replied that I had warned him to stop because I was blowing up the barrels. Regardless of that I was slayed for 2 rounds. On the previous Map when I was a traitor, I was throwing Frag grenades into a crowd of people and Killed one of my traitor friends. I had warned him that I was throwing the frags and he ignored me completely. According to Sinz, since I WARNED him I wouldn't be slain because that was his fault. My argument is that I warned the two people on Community Bowling that I was blowing up the barrels and they should get back but they didn't. I honestly DO NOT see much of a difference between these two situations. "Darth West" Slayed me two times on community bowling. I think he should be demoted for wrongful slaying.

The slays for the barrels were completely justified. The only time a slay would not be issued is if you were shooting at someone for doing something traitorous and caught the barrels in the crossfire. It would be the same as throwing a grenade with no intent, warning, and killing/damaging someone. The reason you weren't slain was because you were a traitor and had an intent to kill innocents.

On a side note, as an innocent the only time it is okay to throw grenades or shoot barrels is with complete intent to kill a traitor that is doing something traitorous or is KOS'd(this way it's not random). Then it would be classified as crossfire. Keep in mind that you must have acknowledgement from your teammates that the warning was issued; just as you do for traitors.

I still gave clear and loud warnings to the two people near the barrels. I said and I quote "Peter, watch out that barrel is going to blow up!" Just because he's dumb enough to ignore my warning shouldn't mean I have to been slain for someone else's mistake. I don't understand how much more clear and crystal I have to be about warnings. I wasn't blwoing up the barrels with intent to kill anyone, I was blowing them up with intent of preventing anyone from being killed by them. Ironic as that is.

Let me say it like this. It would be the same as announcing that you are shooting a wall and someone walking in front of you and getting shot. It's a case of what may not be intentional RDM, but accidental RDM is still RDM and you deserved your slay. Like I said, the only reason you wouldn't be slain is if it were crossfire; as in, you were intended to kill a known traitor. Barrels also don't have a set burn time before exploding.

Also, you said that you were blowing them up to prevent damage to players and actually caused damage to players; that is why you are responsible.

You had complete control over whether that barrel would have blown up or not.

By shooting a barrel as an innocent, called out or not, with no specific intent to kill a traitor, you are taking the risk that someone will walk into them and be injured/killed. It was your action of shooting the barrel that got them killed, which would have been easily avoided by simply not shooting the barrel. No matter how clear your warnings are, there will be people who do not listen/cannot hear you, and because you had no specific intent to kill an enemy, you are held responsible.

This is like honking your horn at a pedestrian who's crossing in front of you at a stop light, but then you accelerate and run them over anyways when they don't get out of the way fast enough. Yeah, sure, they were dumb to not listen, but you still had complete control over the interaction. We all WANT to do it, but we don't because it's still vehicular manslaughter.

Now I feel extremely tempted to do this...
I won't run them over, but give the car a sudden jolt to make them shit themselves XD
