I wouldn't mind typing out an ENTIRE FUCKING THESIS.
But I lack a computer to make things simple, both candidates suck, politics is a scandal, pacifist is a sunny D guy, and I am on a phone.

Though I don't appreciate a reason to vote for Trump because his policies work for what America is now and I think is a lazy argument to make to vote for him to be President. I don't see how having Biden would be a worse candidate given what Trump has manifested in this country for all to see in the last 4 years. Despite being on a phone you can definitely convey a bit more than what you did 100%.

His policies being "I'm a republican" and "I want the niche closet every-phobes to vote for me" are what drives that success you view. His biggest claim to success is the economy which crumbled underneath him due to a lack of structure and leadership to handle a pandemic. He broke down the support systems to address a pandemic to allocate funds into other projects that didn't need it. So he can't even prop up his biggest success from failure just like anything he has ever touched in his life. He was given ample warnings on his actions months in advance and ignored them because he's the all knowing being. I view next to nothing else he did as a success.

Then there's everything else he has let happen to top it off. It's simple af to not vote for Trump and it hurts to vote for Biden and all I want is Bernie but if he's gonna support Biden vs. not endorsing him at all I'll trust that Biden doesn't kill this country in 4 years and pray that any contenders against Biden are aiming for progressive movements otherwise they're all dead to me.

Im going to entirely avoid all of the videos because a lot of it is trying to make CNN bad, which they are, and I'm clearly not endorsing any of the stupid shit they do or what have you. Given you've assumed I consume media specifically from MSNBC CNN and reddit it doesn't take much for me to look anywhere else on FOX or OANN as well as John Oliver Philip Defranco Shapiro Hasan Crowder ABC or anything. I take it all in and digest what I'm looking for and see as many POVs from twitter commenters videos or what fucking ever there is. Obviously wont check all of these sources on all issues at all times when something goes wrong just until I get a clear enough picture from those who are talking about it. I call shit clearly stupid when I see it because I literally read it and understand what they're trying to say and see if that's what's happening and call what I see if it's true and good or false and misleading. Nothing has convinced me either of these candidates are good for president from any media outlet, and more importantly Trump has convinced me in the last 4 years he is less worthy of being president he had his 4 year trial run and it's a fucking terrible. The bare basic differences between these two idiots is Biden has Bernie's support which I'll fucking trust as much as I hate Biden and Trump's 4 years in office have left a lot to be desired and I don't expect him to all of a sudden prove himself as his fearmongering incompetence goes for another 4 years.

And now let's dig deep here. Ok so yes of course. The entire world's economy was affected by the pandemic. Didn't say they weren't. I'm keeping it within the USA and how the USA has handled the pandemic and how him lacking leadership or any backbone to enforce policies to keep Americans in check for just a little fucking bit without being a dictator fucked the country harder than it needed to be.

Trump consistently downplayed the threat for the longest time at the very beginning of when the pandemic hit the USA. Can't tell me he didn't there's clips upon clips of him telling the nation that the virus was nothing. Eventually it exploded because nothing was done to exercise extreme caution against a pandemic-like virus. So let's say "Oh if Trump enforced everyone to stay healthy halted travel blah blah blah, he'd be a dictator! Everyone would hate him!" That's the problem with Trump's, your's, and a decent portion of this country's mindset. Science has been consistently ignored (an entirely different topic with Trump) since he took office. He'll send mixed message about how to do this and that with the weather or the virus as well as pull billions of funding from government science research. Whether it's NASA which they've just said, fuck it Elon you do everything, NIH, DOA, EPA, etc. Then he delegated all authority to reduce blame for any inaction he'd have taken to handle the virus to his task force which is smart as well as the governors of every state which is also smart. So then when they start asking for help he starts going off about "I cant provide this and that they're overblowing the pandemic out of proportion the numbers they give me is ridiculous" when they were always all very real and if it wasn't for Fauci trying to hammer it into his thick skull the country would be straight fucked. A country like the USA without some harsher measurements was just the perfect place for coronavirus to flourish because 'if trump became a dictator for the sake of killing coronavirus you'd be whining about how he's a dictator now' when the country needed harsh order and guidance like what they were attempting to do in Michigan before they were forced by gun wielding idiots to back down on restrictions because you again don't downplay the severity of a fucking disease with no cure. Being a leader doesnt mean being a dictator. Had it been taken seriously when he knew of the virus which he was told early enough on the country could've been hit significantly less hard and so would have the economy and the USA wouldn't be an entire quarantine zone. Sure maybe the governors could've bypassed Trump and done things sooner or earlier, but who the fuck knows certainly not you or I if the governors were given that same info Trump did before it made waves around the country and you can blame them all you want as well for letting shit get out of hand but if there's no guidance from the top of the pyramid what the hell do you expect people to do?


I barely stated much of what he has done or hasn't done to begin with because the specifics of his presidency are so simple enough that you can just gauge his value on the basics of what he wants to do. Wants racist immigration laws from Stephen Miller, Wants a flourishing economy (which isn't a bad thing so hold on for a second) at the expense of allies (which is quite bad, can't bite the bullet and pay more for the worth you bring to the world what a shame), more times than not will refuse to assist with issues internationally, consistently promotes conspiracy theories, That 1 minute clip of yours sure as hell doesn't clear him of consistent messages that he's literally racist, a bigot, and doesn't actually condemn white supremacy. He deflected all of that stupid ass shit onto fucking gruesome and violent video games isn't that just the most wise thing to say? Well clearly we're in a forum that deals with killing terrorists god damnit he's so right isn't he? Had he literally fucking done anything to stop any of that after that clip went out which he had many opportunities to do I'd shut the fuck up. And because the parties have been so clearly divided for his entire presidency it doesn't surprise me that he's trying to go around them to get relief to the people because it's essentially a republican controlled bill to begin with because the senate is trying to please Trump as much as possible because if they cant he won't sign it obviously. The democrats trying to give more relief to people shouldn't be an issue but it is because he doesnt want to burn money for his mistakes and the people's money going back into the country will piss off republicans because they dont want their money going back to people they didnt intend for it to go to.

Literally no one wants a dictator I didn't say anything that'd make him out to be a dictator if he did something differently. The states and countries controlling what their citizens do is also not smart. Literally nothing I've said has been me bitching about him doing something he did as well as bitching about what he hasn't done. If the message from the very top is "virus not bad, it'll go away, it's not serious" states will buy into that, people will buy into that. A lack of action creates no safety net for the fallout that did happen. "So are you rather saying he should've been a dictator when handling this virus? He should've just closed the entire country down and restricted everyone from doing anything like a dictator?" Clearly no... before anything I just said in this paragraph is pulled out of context this is specifically regarding the virus and how he the states or whoever handles it and not about how Trump, states, blah, run shit in general. You follow what the science says and appropriately act based on the data which will never ever suggest a country become a dictatorship to eradicate a virus. Took him a few months to get scientists to tell people to take that shit seriously. Clearly did a number on the country because we had a mix of no regulations and strong regulations causing extreme exhaustion due to mixed messaging and fear of spread due to every state handling the virus differently. Wouldn't that have been much better had the country followed a very clear set guideline from government scientists or is that too dictatorshipy for you?

The scale of coronavirus even when January came around was one exercising extreme caution to contain the virus. It wasn't clear even then what the incubation period of the virus was where the 2 week thing started happening in February when the world was getting rattled. That's how ahead China was vs. everyone else. "Ahead?! You mean they knew info we didnt?!!?!" No! They were impacted harder before anyone of course they'd take extreme measures and do extensive research to stop the virus! So they got a head start on getting fucked by Corona and the USA was like "you know... we could care and not get fucked as hard or harder about this but given what my scientists have told me ill bet on it not shutting down the country because I want the money." Guess what it shut down the country because the virus doesnt care about the moneyyyyy. Trump's handling of the virus was so terrible that no matter what pollster you went to even Fox they couldn't give him favorable views even after they had their talking heads tell us how the virus was going away for months. Everyone listened to the Fauci who is apparently in the pockets of the left despite the left also not wanting to listen to science because science is an unbiased bitch and if you wanna play politics with science it'll fuck around with you until you die from the virus. Or maybe you're a young healthy individual then let's say until an older loved one dies from the virus that you potentially gave to them. How doesn't the threat of life long injuries which will be research for years now from the virus fucking make people care? Is it just because it's a threat and not a guarantee about something we wont know for again, years? Damn man. No maybe someone like Roz already just knows in his mind that something like that doesn't exist (diabetes, cancer, obesity, arthiritis, asthma, heart disease, lung disease, nah these arent life long because your life wont be long with these untreated so you cant have a life long disease!)

There's a lot of fields and a lot of stuff people ignored about it in school so if people want to be blissfully ignorant and base their opinions off of unbacked science then sure. We'll go off of herd immunity get next to the closest infected person and help the cause. Hopefully you arent apart of the currently like 3.5% mortality rate. "yea sure i drive all the time that's basically a 3.5% chance of dying at any given point ill give it a go!" Side note: Something that may shock you from the progressive science simp here. All the news about if people will or won't get the vaccine immediately when it's available. How there's a ton of people skeptical about the vaccine who aren't anti-vaxx... Guess what that's fucking normal to be skeptical about. Doesn't have to be a left or right issue. Anti-science or what have you. The first vaccines coming out will probably not be the strongest or most effective possible. So don't be actually anti-vaxx when a more effective vaccine gets released, but you can hate the initial roll outs though that's valid as hell even though I really wish it wasn't. Science isn't going to be perfect all the time every time for the first time.

I am not even sure where this idea of stagnation comes from. Has Biden adopted a "do absolutely nothing" plan? Last I remember, a lot of his policies are incredibly progressive, at least more progressive than we've seen in a long time. He isn't Bernie, but he sure as fuck isn't Trump, and sure as fuck isn't a republican.

Why I can't vote for Trump:
1) Shut down the government because the congress (which at the time was republican) wouldn't fund his wall to the amount he wanted.
2) Instituted a Muslim travel ban that targeted no countries where terrorism actually comes from.
3) Has gotten nowhere with North Korea, except for a photo op.
4) Has gotten us out of the Parris Climate Agreement, lied about having to pay a lot of money (which is not true), and essentially doesn't believe in climate change, which is fucking absurd.
5) Has gotten us out of the Iran Deal, which means Iran can now build nukes again (the deal was working, yet trump didn't like it because apparently we were going "too soft," which in his mind means we should have been bombing their generals)
6) Has vetoed bills that prevent the US from funding the Saudi's genocide of Yemen, mainly because he believes that Americans "profit" from the business. Essentially: "We can't get rid of the American industrial complex because it makes us a shit ton of money!"
7) Banned transgender people from the Military.
8) Has failed to respond to systemic racism in any meaningful way.
9) Tear gassed a peaceful protest so that he could walk across the street and take a picture.
10) Has started a fucking trade war with China.
11) Has stacked his cabinet with business insiders and in some cases actual fucking nazis (steve bannon), who, btw, is currently being indicted for fraud.
12) Has had several members of his inner circle be not only indicted, but charged, with actual fucking crimes. Michael Flynn, Michael Cohen, Roger Stone, and many many more.
13) Has turned the Justice Department into a fucking joke, removing prosecutors and replacing them with others in cases where Trump's people are being prosecuted.
14) Appointed Brett Kavanagh to the supreme court despite the fact that he could have literally chosen any number of others (he was given a list).
15) Has beaten the land speed record of politicians lying. For fucking real. He lies constantly. Not like any other politician, he lies over shit that isn't even important ("my inauguration had more people than ever before")
16) Has cut welfare programs because why not
17) Has attempted to gut the ACA on several occasions, despite it being relatively favorable among Americans.
18) Has lowered taxes on the wealthiest Americans, has made it so college income is taxed (as if college students working on campus to pay off their tuition didn't already have it bad), and has raised taxes for a lot of the lower and middle class by canceling out deductions that many Americans use to be able to take.
19) Has threatened to take American journalists to court for libel, which is a slippery slope that I'd rather the government not go down.
20) Finally, over and above all, Trump is really fucking stupid. The guy can barely put a coherent sentence together, can't go five minutes without stroking the dick of American imperialism and patriotism, and overall his actions have been unprofessional, and have dangerously set the precedent for several presidents to come.

So yeah. This is a little bit more than "Orange man bad," it literally is that I disagree with this dumb fuck and almost everything he stands for. I would crawl over broken glass to get this fucking guy out of office, and if the glass is Biden... well shit boys... it was fun, amen god bless

 

I think Biden is a complete pushover and ill bite my tongue if he does anything actually progressive. In either case, I'll take Biden over further diving into regression.

And yea yea from the Trumpers who may wanna say "how is it regression if trump is focusing on strengthening capitalism you just simply dont like america." Land of the free to be stupid home of the brave enough to risk your life for a fun night out. That's what was fought for keep at it troopers.

Honestly, you can do that and be socially progressive too. Half of that is missing from Trump + all of the stupid that comes with him.
