Dedicated Staff Shifts

I'm not sure if this is even possible but I wanted to suggest it. There never seems to be enough mods on at night (when im mostly on) and I would like to suggest a staff shift sheet were you could (if you are staff) sign up for a time slot whenever you are available so that we might get a better more even spread of mods all thru out the day.

 

Mods get on when they can. This is mostly controlled during the application process were applicants inform current staff of the times they are on.

 

This would be nice, but there would still be things going on within the moderators real lives.

 

I'd rather not be pressured into working at a specific time, I'd much rather get on whenever I want to so I don't get stressed/burnt out from moderating.

 

I understand that but it would be nice if they could volantier for shifts make the list public and then people could play accourdingly.

 

I'm not saying make it mandatory just have list of times were staff could singn up so that regular players could know exactly when (and were) mods will be on, instead of a guess and check game

 

When the admins look through applications, they also look at the activity tracker; it shows the activity of all mods including their hours in two weeks and the times they are online. Admins can see when the server is lacking the most staff and will try to accept applications to fill the gaps. They don't need to sign up for times, but simply list the times they are online in their application in the designated section.

 

If we had shifts, this would become a job without pay.

 

I totally agree, we usually have too many mods online and on multiple servers. We cannot always have dedicated times.

 

I can be able to moderate East 2 and east at night time.

 

But im not mod.

 

If I had to work shifts. I would be able to be stable on that. I get on when I can. The problem we have is we don't have enough staff.

 

I would not mind working in shifts ^.^. But why should I if im always on?
