Serious GMod Server's Seventh Anniversary Event!

I'm very excited to say that the Serious GMod Servers community will be reaching its seventh year anniversary on July 5th, 2020.

We have added some much needed upgrades to the malfunction pistol, tear gas and tripwire mines.

Malfunction Chain

The Malfunction Chain perk will make your victims shoot each other in a chain of malfunctions. This can cause some serious havoc with some planning and luck.

Malfunction Grenade

The Malfunction Grenade perk will make your victim sometimes take out his grenade and throw it. Depending on if your victim has a frag grenade or a discombobulator in a rooftops map, the outcome can be hilarious.

Tear Gas Safety

The Tear Gas Safety perk will make the tear gas grenade a lot more viable for traitors once owned. The first level completely shields you from the effects of the tear gas that you throw. The second level protects you from tear gas that your traitor buddies throw.

Silent Tripmines

The Silent Tripmines perk is making a return however it is now a 2 level upgrade. The first level will significantly reduce the sound of planting a tripwire mine. The second level completely removes the planting sound. If you already owned this upgrade prior to the rollback then you will retain the first level.

We are adding two perks from Modded to Vanilla servers as well as the ability to purchase traitor/detective rounds. The pricing for traitor/detective rounds has been increased across all servers.

Radar Scan


Since we are adding vanilla maps with larger sizes, we think this would be the right time to introduce the radar scan perk as well to help reduce delaying. The price of this upgrade has been adjusted.


We are adding 23 new songs to our end round playlist. Additionally the end round songs will now be playing on Vanilla servers as well. Thanks to @Peter for compiling most of the new playlist.





Sniper rifles will now decapitate players on headshot kills.


This applies to all servers and can be toggled off (it's enabled by default). You can enable the Unreal Tournament "Headshot" sound to play when you get a headshot in the settings menu.


Thanks to @Nathan776 for his work on making sure our player models get decapitated.

We are launching a new Vanilla server on the US east coast. The IP will be vanilla2.seriousttt.com.



Oh and lets not forget our special traitor weapons. This year will not debut a new weapon however some of these will be available for use on Vanilla for a limited time.


The Malfunction pistol will now make its victim pull out either their primary or secondary if not equipped. This applies to grenades as well if you have the perk for it.
The M16 on Modded has been reverted to the vanilla version of the M16.
ttt_infini_b5 has been added to modded map rotation.
