Let me just simp for Highwon real quick. While I wish he were more present in certain areas, he is always working on stuff. Here lately he's been super active in mitigating DDOS/DOS attacks because some people have nothing better to do than lag a GMod server. He's been looking at bugs and shit. He fixed an exploit that was reported, he's looking into the spray issue, he's constantly working on making the new download system better. Just because you're not getting DR/TTT updates doesn't mean he isn't doing anything. He is constantly working to improve your server experience.
I must admit I've never played on our DR servers, only because there aren't ever people playing on them, which is sad because I love DR, so yes, let's try to bring it back!!
Is there any chance he might be able to give us a progress report or something like that? I mean I rarely play on the Deathrun server but it would be nice to hear about the specifics about the work he's been doing to improve the servers.
That's where I wish he was more present, talking to you guys, and us more. I'm sure people like getting the periodic updates from us Leads on the update thread, but I know it'd be much more appreciated for him to talk about what he's doing himself.
People don't seem to understand that if there are no players on: JOIN! Soon enough people will begin to hop on since they see at least one other person playing. You can even message people to join you. It's only dead because nobody wants to make the first move.
Since I posted this I have played a couple times, and it’s p good. I think we can start to revitalize it if we have more game nights and shit like that
