Make it a D weapon and make the Jackhammer a T weapon. Forgot who the originally suggested this, but credit to you! It's perfect, honestly, for hunting down Ts. You have 2 ammo in your clip, perfect for killing someone you have DNA on.
I totally agree, if you make it a T weapon, then all the T's would use it, I think you should make it a D weapon, and either remove the Jackhammer, or make it a T weapon.
Innocents shouldn't have access to a weapon with this much stopping power. As many have suggested previously, i suggest adding it as a traitor weapon or removing it completely. It's good for getting a quick kill, but if you mess up then the reload time limits your ability to react/retaliate. It's excellent for cornering people alone and getting a quick secret kill, but not good enough to sustain yourself in a drawn out firefight like the mp7.

Oops now I look like an idiot since I have multiple posts in a row saying the same thing. But this poll is missing the "add as traitor weapon" option. Until that's added, I don't think this is a fair poll considering that's what a lot of sensible people want, including me.
The reason there are so many threads; to show how many members of the community feel the need to change it. More threads = more support = highwons attention. I understand he already knows of this suggestion. Highwon says he puts the community first and if there is a large portion of the community supporting the removal/nerf/change of the db then I believe he'd do something about it
It honestly shouldn't be touched for the exact reasons you have stated. Im surprised this isn't about the sl8 or somthing, I can win a 5 v 1 with that gun. Try that with the db and you gon die.
the sl8 requires much greater skill to do that sort of stuff though. You actually have to get your crosshairs onto the person or land headshots. Db's can massacre people even if the user has the worst aim. sl8, not so much. Skill required should be directly proportional to how effective it is.
And the thing is, i like how quickly it can massacre people. It's awesome. but if i'm in a room with someone who has a double barrel, he could kill me in a split second no matter what, and i'd have no time to retaliate. But if it was a traitor weapon, he would have to pull the double barrel out, giving me a split second to do something. I just don't like how everyone can be walking around with a double barrel and getting insta kills. If it was a traitor weapon, id be able to defend myself against people trapping me in rooms, cuz i'd be able to kill anyone who pulled out a double barrel. as of now, someone can stand in a row and aim the double barrel at me as i side strafe back and forth. He can just aim it at me until he gets an alright shot then BAM. But if it was a t weapon, he would have to be quick otherwise i would kill him as soon as i see the db.
You can't be serious talking about that 'it isn't like that IRL'. I guess we should remove rooms only accessible by T's because 'IRL people can't open doors by clicking a little hand in the corner'. This is a game, and things need to be nerfed if they provide an unfair advantage. Double barrels are usually used by VIPs and the such anyway seeing as they can choose their loadouts. That is also the reason why they get so much support on these forums, VIPs are the ones who highly support the DB. Edit: spelling
OK is there any way we could change the reload speed so that it takes ten or fifteen seconds to reload? That would leave the shooter at a huge vulnerability once his/her two shots are fired.
This is wrong because DB gives opponents no reaction time assuming its 1 shot kill which it is 70% of the time, and if it is 2 shot kill it would give about 0.3 second reaction time which most people don't have, and 90% of the time its 1 or 2 shot kill. however the AK is much much harder to land head shots than DB on a moving target and also much slower to finish the clip.
To find the best of both worlds (those that want it changed and those that don't), I have changed the double barrel to fire both shots when you shoot it.
