Why would you use SSDs for mass storage when you can get like 8tb HDD for the price of a 1TB ssd

Also I think I have like 2-3tb of Gmod evidence via shadowplay but I have max settings

Let me rephrase, I said "mass storage" but I don't hold on to things long. I have very little files nowadays. 1 TB SSD for recordings which is only like 1/4th full. 500gb SSD that just has mostly VR games on it rn and a 500gb M.2 for OS/main stuff
