I am going to be adding an additional weapon skin and map for the event.

Once you reach the playtime goal, you will automatically get this skin.

I have updated the original post with these new additions. Keep in mind that while your playtime from Vanilla will count towards the goal you will need to be on a Modded server to receive the ACR skin. AFK farming is allowed and counts towards acquiring the skins that require playtime.

 

Since I screwed up on the dates in pointshop, I'm going to be starting the event early. Everything is going to be available today except for the Grimwon event. I'll try to have it finished before Oct 28th to give you guys more time to kill the boss.

 

I will try to get on as much as possible during different periods of the day/night so that all regions can enjoy the boss battle. I don't have a set schedule and there is no limit to how many times I will do the boss fight.

These are the changes to the boss battle from the last event:

• The boss health has been nerfed 20%. His damage dealt has not been changed.
• His blackout ability has been changed. It used to make the players blind for about 7 seconds. This has been reduced to 0.5 seconds however the whole map goes dark for 20 seconds. You can still see and will need to use your flashlight so at least you have a fighting chance. I don't feel the original complete darkness was fair to the players.
• The boss has an ultimate that he can trigger once he has very very low health. This ultimate will make all players move in slow motion while the boss is unaffected for a short duration.
• The RPG no longer spawns after 3 minutes.
• Previously when the boss was defeated, players would have a low chance of receiving the Goresplatter skin. This has been changed to all players receiving the Goresplatter on victory and the ones that already have the Goresplatter skin receive 1,000 points instead. This doesn't apply to players that join mid round or AFKs. Though generally I move AFKs out of the server before starting the boss battle.

 

Looks like the 30% HP nerf was too much. I reduced the nerf to 20%.

 

The boss will now spawn ammo whenever he leaps. This should alleviate ammo problems during boss fight.
