Congratulations, you completely missed the fucking point. The difference between what I'm saying and that screenshot--which again, OLD--is that I'm not being a nazi about the rules. That person was, and at the time, they weren't even mod.
Protocol isn't to add slay to account, the top says you have an active report and not to leave or else ya get banned. thats gonna be my only post on this thread
Oh, thought it was zuko Lmao. Basically the same person. And again, you missed the point. You're whiteknighting the mod that everyone complains about, while also not listening to what anyone has to say. #youaretheproblem
Could we close this thread please? It’s getting way too far and let’s be honest it’s going nowhere at this point.
I'm not white knighting for Elvis lol. I'm just using your own words against you. So. You care WAY too much about the server, especially for someone with no power on it. Like damn, it's actually sad. Or are you do as I say, not as I do?
"Finally, is the staff team one giant conspiracy, one that aims to get you banned because you constantly speak the truth on some kind of crusade that you find utterly justifiable?"
I [and the other people who voted yes on this poll] want to have fun on the server and not deal with elitist mods, how is that "caring too much?" My comment was only long because I can't describe what I dislike about mods in a single sentence, not because "you care too much about the server." It's not the same thing, he was defending the server and its staff, whereas I'm suggesting stuff to improve those. PS: I noticed that you had nothing to say of my suggestions. Probably because they're actually fair.
I swear majority of these mods are being EXTREMELY toxic because i made this thread to express some issues for the SGM servers but all y'all rather say im the rule breaker and i have poor knowledge of the rules. GUESS FUCKING WHAT this thread is made not because im toxic about a few slays and bans its because the mods really have some fucking issues that need some major addressing. And i get that i don't follow some of the rules. Hell i can't understand half of them cause there so complex and hard to decipher. Im trying to let everyone know there are some issues with the server and WE NEED TO FIX THEM. I may be an issue but im not stupid, i can tell if mods are abusing to a certain extent, and hey guess what if the mods/admins are supposed to be making this server a fun place but instead of listening to what people have to say you'd rather defend your ego as thats more important than the server. If you'd not discriminate, if you listened to the other side, you would understand that. Also im not against the mods being removed or banned for minor accidents but you know what if the mods would at least take ownership and actually care about there players rather then there ego this server in theory could be more popular than *******. If you don't agree with me thats fine im but at least look into it before assuming the mods are perfect. Also this is my last comment on this thread, fuk dis shit im out
Because we're discussing something not related to your suggestions. Which is to say your overwhelming toxicity, constant slurs, and lack of understanding of how the server operates. 1. In progress already. 2. Every mod is different. They have different personalities and styles of staffing. It's up to admins to pick who they would like as a mod from the pool of applicants. Some mods are just more strict and there isn't really anything demotion worthy about being tight on the rules. The people who are attracted to staff are generally the people who want to ENFORCE the rules though, so. 3. I don't. I've been against certain people being moderators and have pointed out their flaws and brought up my problems with them to admins before. 4. That's on Highwon and isn't really an improvement the staff team can make. 5. If a mod has more than a couple valid reports against them they're demoted. If a mod makes enough mistakes they're demoted. People just complaining about a mod isn't enough to warrant demotion.
I think someone should end this middle school drama and lock this thread. It's tracking like something you'd see in the shoutbox.
Name/User (or both lol): Michael (Genesis) A few fun facts about yourself: 1. I enjoy film-making . 2. I have 4 siblings. 3. I eat sand for breakfast. 4. I live in a helicopter. 5. I have an open water scuba diving certification. Favorite food: Seafood. Pet peeve: People who steal the ideas of others. Dream job: Film director. Favorite game and why: Dark Souls because it's very immersive. How ya doin?: Pretty well.
1. Well how long is that supposed to take lol. 2. Yeah, exactly, and the mods that are more strict shouldn't be given as many chances as they are. "there isn't really anything demotion worthy about being tight on the rules" that's kind of what I'm suggesting, maybe there should be. Mods should be capable of acting neutral and calm. 3. This wasn't just directed at you, it's directed at people who blindly obey rules. Those are also usually the same people addressed in point #2 that go power mad once they get mod. Anyway, I think that's fair, but how many people does it take to bring up problems to an admin before they get demoted? 4. People have been asking for a dev for how long? I should have put this suggestion first tbh, it's the most important. 5. Yeah, but people are deeming those reports invalid and assuming "oh its just a salty player." It's tough to figure out which reports are valid and which aren't at this point. Again, these are suggestions. Back to the relevant problem; we will never actually know if mods are abusing their powers because mods--the majority in this case--are saying no. So yeah, might as well close this thread since the poll is basically invalid.
I too enjoy seafood. Have you had oysters or clams before? They have an interesting flavor but its not bad. Try a pot of steamed clams sometimes, with lemon.
The mods being reported and the admins making the verdict and locking the thread should have been (and have been) explaining their reasoning and the conclusion in the threads themselves, do you have a particular example where you aren't sure if it's valid or not even though it's already been handled?
