can we just stay on topic. this thread has derailed into small petty arguments and things that are completely unrelated to the actual thread. and if you’re talking about an example of abuse occurring please don’t use actual names as more drama does not need to be stirred. make a report to the person(s) superior.
My source is my mom whose an insurance agent I've talked to her and she said that she's gonna look into it.
Ok honestly this is getting ridiculous, any and all websites have access to your IP address, steam is no exception. You're also expecting the staff team to explain everything that they do, some of which was made specifically for them and displays some sensitive information that they are not willing to make public. Are you really expecting a court to listen to how you were banned from an online gaming community and weren't told their ways of finding out you were evading. And how does any of this deal with the topic of admin/mods abusing their powers? I for one have not seen anything at all abusive while I've been on, which has been a lot since I started playing regularly, you cannot be abusive in your powers when your limits aren't clearly set in stone. Each mod can take what is considered micspam into their own words, and people DO ask mods to gag people, there's an admin chat where people can ask for these things.
dont worry bois my dad is the owner of the internet and he will delete everyone's IP addy no need to fear anything it is now handled
I am not your mother, nor am I an insurance agent. For one, all the information I told you was public, non staff. Administrators can access your IP in game, mods cannot. Mods can access IP Addresses on the forum. Your IP is available to any website you access. That's literally (not the metaphoric literally, but literally literally) how the internet works kiddo. Don't be stupid because you got caught evading kiddo
It's not an argument it's a question lol. You have no regard for the rules and you see abuse because you break them constantly and get punished for it.
Maybe your actions caused voca to go "Hey, this guy is whack! Yo, admin, do your admin things!" Or, the answer is [staff information], but has nothing to do with your personal information such as your ip. It's likely this.
