That thread doesn't really tell me what they leaked, but I ran into ryan on another ttt server recently and he told me he was banned from SGM but didn't tell me why. All I've seen from him in game and on here is moderating like a robot, and the few times I played with him, it's like he wasn't even there. Just in my personal experience, those aren't exactly people I put my trust in. I have no idea why people are calling him a "good guy" and stuff when he's the most emotionless kid I've ever met. Literally no clue what people see in him. From what I could tell, Pixel was passionate about being staff and did his job well. RIP to him I guess. Part of me believes it's a big deal because they had to ban their own admins for it, but this server also banned a guy for a month for talking on a report and another guy for "conflict of interest," so it's hard to tell and I'm probably not going to be able to figure it out here. Anyway, that wasn't really the point I was making, but that thread does go to show how seriously some people take things on here. Have a nice day.
I suggested that staff act neutral as referees, but friendlier in customer service, by making more use of the report chat, having dialogues with people in game. How is any of that "causing more issues" I dont fucking understand you people lmao
Also, since our head staff always say how busy they've been or are going to be, why don't they sign off, and hand that rank to someone else? We can't just wait for someone to come back when the server is literally regressing, in reference to the massive rollbacks. We haven't had a developer in many months, our owner is barely present anymore, and honestly, the only thing keeping this server running IS the regulars. Without them, this server is finished.
Highwon is the only higher up that can designate power. As for devs that is also highwon a duty and with the past dev/owner betraying him somehow he won’t give someone dev power again
Like I said before, I was replying to this, where you clearly are either trolling or just using sarcasm to suggest "treating them without mercy" in order to get them to adhere to what you want them to change, I'm fairly certain anyone can agree this won't do justice or help this server. Ok, so this is actually something pretty interesting to discuss so I'll try give my input on why this happens. One of the problems I had with being a staff member back then was the full hour requirement, it just takes too much of a toll over time, like many other members I always used to think "Damn man, how can staff not even play an hour a day?" but you soon realise how much of a chore it becomes after months. When the servers used to hit 36 players or fill up with certain people, you can't even the play game anymore. You essentially have to "lawyer" up and prepare yourself for all the backseat bros to come at you even in obvious cases. You know what also doesn't help? Regular members loopholing and trying to fuck with the staff members online. The funnier part is they then try getting that staff member in trouble for no fucking reason. Like bro if you're just playing to fuck with people voluntarily giving their time, why? Nothing better to do? If it's a shit staff member there's others way you can handle it and not needing to throw a sissy fit over. Lets talk about the Lead role, essentially when you get Lead you've probably been doing the same routine for months (obviously the promotion gives you more motivation to keep doing it, but eventually the added stuff you gotta do makes you burn out easier. Leads have a relaxed hour requirement most probably due to how long they've been on the team along with inevitable burnout, unfortunately this ends up causing issues with inactivity and sometimes things in real life do actually crop up. With there only being one lead nowadays, you can see where this goes. Ok, two leads now, but you get the idea. Trust me, it looks deceivingly easy when you're just a regular member but all the behind the scenes stuff adds up, you then start to wonder if you're here to enjoy your time or babysit a bunch of people. (Other communities seem to have less issues with this, why? Because they don't give a fuck basically, if someone pisses them off they just remove them, in this community you need to constantly provide evidence for both sides and since punishments aren't zero-tolerance annoying fucks can remain annoying for a very long time) I still agree with you on the point of burnt-out staff resigning if they don't like it, that's what I did. As for the developer ban, personally I don't like the way they were banned at all, especially with what I've heard. If the Owner says it goes that's just how it is (I personally don't agree, but what are you going to do? Force him?), I do think a replacement should be sought for asap though, lots of things need updating/maintenance done since forever. The Owner being barely present, well you're right. No offense to Highwon, but I think it's pretty clear he's a very busy man and he only checks in on this place once in a while since he at least still cares enough to maintain it from the bare-minimum. Bare-minimum is not enough at this point in time, but again, what can anyone do apart from him? Ultimately, the player base has gotten extremely small throughout the years. Back in like 2016 all the servers would be full up almost all the time, nowadays it's a ghost town. What messed with this place was a lot of internal problems in the staff team partially caused by troublesome members in the community. The only hope left for this server is an entire overhaul (Servers, website, Rules) but I think the damage may already be done, it's literally a really small number that even play on here sadly. Anyways man, like I said originally I'm more of a lurker nowadays and I don't wanna fight with anyone. If you're entitled to that opinion sure it's fine, you didn't present any bad points apart from that one instance, but just remember this place probably isn't going to be around for longer, so enjoy it whilst it lasts.

So I think this has reached its natural conclusion. Let me just say that I have spoken to Teroxa about a great many things last night, and while he may be a little busy right now, he is still very passionate about these servers and has done a lot of work in his time as a lead admin. Maybe some of you have not been privy to his great work, but from what I can gather he has done tremendous things for these servers and has plans to continue doing these great things. I apologize for the lack of communication, it is definitely an issue that we face around here a lot, but I will try my best to keep you guys updated on things. As far as the reports go, they will be taken care of very soon. This is of utmost importance to me, as these reports need to be handled swiftly. Thank you.
if he loves the server so much, then why isn't he allowing it to grow; why are we still in the 2017 roll-back and not having updates? the entire forum branch | suggestions | is completely useless for the time being because we dont have anyone to .. you know, implement suggestions. why do reports on staff take weeks to be completed? why dont you guys take in more applications if you're so swamped with work? i mean, to amend these issues would be really pretty easy but it seems to me that you guys just dont want / fear any change at all but thats just my opinion on that matter
Some things lie more on the developers, which we probably don't have any, and Highwon. The suggestion lies more on Highwon and whether he actually wants to do things or not rather than on the leads. Secondly, applications are private, which users can't see other apps other than their own. There is even a process to see whether the person is actually qualified to be a staff and not a troll/doxxer/hacker/toxic person/etc. Sometimes, there might not be even enough applications to make it work. And so on. A lot of these things can be explained if you sit down and think about it rather than assuming the worst. Or hell. Even do some research. Some of these information are out in the public.
Why call for Teroxa’s resignation when he’s active on discord and on the forums giving responses on his plans for the community. Instead, we should be calling for Irish resignation. Due to his inactivity, his own mods have started to suffer due to him not being around to respond to questions being asked to him. I get that he has irl shit to deal with however him currently being an administrator is a waste of a spot and hurting the staff team.
Irish is currently dealing with final exams. Lordy is currently overseeing his team, alongside myself.
As paci already mentioned, Irish is inactive because he is dealing with his exams at the moment. I understand that it's not ideal for our community, but in this situation him focussing on his exams takes priority. We all have a real life and we understand if a staff member needs some time. The alternatives would have been to either demote him, or for him to spend his time staffing instead of preparing for his exams. None of which make sense. We either loose an admin over something he has not control over, or we force him to keep his hours up, which would again either lead to a demotion, or worse - it would effect him and his exams. I'd rather avoid both of these options. Irish approached me and explained the situation ahead of time. He even offered to try and keep his hours as high as possible during his exam phase, but I told him to just take the time he needs and come back when he's able to. He is still keeping me updated. He did nothing wrong here.
i recently pmed teroxa about a situation, he was typing and then he decided not to respond anymore, still waiting for a respond
