People are again getting into a heated conversation about another rule related to rdm. That is to say, carrying a body away from a detective whos trying to use a dna scanner on it.

I wasn't going to post this until I heard the person say (the person who was doing it.) "It doesn't say in the rules. So I can carry a body away from a detective, and keep it away, and no one can shoot me for it, otherwise it is RDM on them."

This, to me, sounds like a clear example of Loop-hole trolling. So I am requesting an official ruling on this so its no longer he said/she said.

If you are magneto sticking a body and keeping it away from detectives, whether identified or not, I believe this is a traitorous action used to run down DNA and prevent detectives from gathering it with their scanner, as such, helping traitors out.

It is not traitorous to carry around a body with DNA.

No, it's not. You can scan bodies whilst a person is carrying it. Even hiding identified bodies isn't traitorous. Yes, a little suspicious, but not traitorous.

you can scan at a distance? As I am talking about the trollish players who literally run away from everyone playing keep-a-way with the body.

I think the MOTD should be changed to add no hiding bodies of any type, excluding when we make sacrifices on Lost Temple

That's not a problem until the person holding the body starts flailing it around.

I don't agree about adding no hiding bodies at all, but I do think it should be considered traitorous to hide (read: carry and place) a body with DNA to an inaccessible area (read: lava, basically any place that will kill you if you try to reach). Though in that regards, Minecraft would be hell to deal with as there are lava spots where you can still ID/DNA the body...

Thats what I meant. No hiding bodies in areas where they can no longer be reached, because as far as we know, you are covering your tracks and hiding dna that leads to you

I hide bodies as an inno all the time. I throw them off cliffs or stuff them in closets. What's the point of keeping them around if there's no DNA? (I know they can give you "suspicions" but meh, viva la hiding!)

When a body is it water, it erases all DNA.

  13. I think the traitorous acts apply to UNID bodies only, if ID,d then if they were not called to for a detective, (DNA expired) Then the likely hood of the body having DNA on it is probably pretty low, since I think DNA last up to a max of a min or two, so I think it should NOT be traitorous to carry an ID'd body around. hiding or throwing off train or into lava etc should be since there is only one reason to do so OTHER than plain trolling, which is to hide the fact you killed them, otherwise you are just trolling, or helping T's.
