Carned slayed me for killing someone who prop hurt me

Carned slayed me for killing whosethatguy which is a traitor and he prop pushed me almost off the ledge then he dropped the barrel then it hurt me but Carned just slayed me without investigating the truth.

 

Okay well i'll start from the beginning.

You reported Whosethatguy for prop damaging you.

I check the logs to see this


In which you can see that there is no damage done to you.

So i went ahead with the slay because no damage was inflicted on you.

You then PM'd me saying that whosethatguy said he did damage to you.


As seen here where you say "he admitted it"

Then he said this;

Which clearly shows him saying that it didnt do damage when he says

"You said it did damage"
You say "Yeah"
he then responds with "but it didnt"

And you even copied and pasted his message into chat saying that the prop MAY have hit you but it bounced over, not once does he admit to damaging you.

So you lied to me to get me to void the slay on your adminstats, which i have still done.

So i don't see why your reporting me, you had the slay which in my eyes was valid but i still removed the slay from your adminstats after you lied to me.

I will wait for an admins response, however i feel that i shouldn't of had to mark you down 1 slay.

He admitted that he didn't do it on purpose and he even said it bounced at hit me when threw the barrel. And of course he didnt admitted to the admin. He will get slain if he did.

He never said it did damage, he said it hit you, props can hit you and not do damage all the time.

He says below that it didnt do damage.

Which matches what the logs show.

 

It hit me but he didn't admit it because he didn't know it hit me

Im going off the logs showing that it didnt do damage and the fact that you lied about him telling you something other than what he did makes me less inclined to think the logs lied somehow.

 

If it didn't hit me why would I sit here wasting my time reporting you

 

As a Mod, Carned can only go off of what the logs show, unless he personally observed it. He is not allowed to go off of hearsay, especially in a he said she said situation with two people arguing two sides. Since the logs don't show any damage done, he has to assume that damage wasn't done, and slay accordingly.

If you feel like this is an issue, please start recording demos of your rounds in the future, and then you can post those as evidence.

 

Honestly, i have no idea, i even removed the slay from your adminstats despite personally me thinking it was a slay...
Maybe you like to see people punished.

 

@Carned, you should enable fall damage in your logs. If he really was prop damaged, it would show up as fall damage if it didn't show up as prop damage.

 

i am not siding mods or admin.
since carned has already removed your slay in adminstats by accident since he trusted your story.

but judging by the damagelog. your not DAMAGED AT ALL. you just get hit by the traitor which inflicted 0 damage on you. not even a single of your health drop so you shouldn't argue. come to the worst you can only say SUSPECT and be SUSPICION ON HIM. but you killed him for it.

CLEARLY THIS IS A CASE OF KILLED ON SUSPICION. yes carned slained you but carned removed your slay records in adminstats which should be good enough. no mods/admin can see the true story, they can only see much evidence based on the damagelog they had. (unless you record a video down).

my personal verdict to the accused carned is NOT GUILTY
but for this guy Peralta. he should be guilty and SHOULD be mark with another slay

P.S i am just judging by the damagelog shown on this post. if peralta is innocent. then just let him be,
but this report is about slaying him which is unavoidable once the round start.

to peralta, i understand how you feel if your innocent from the case and get slain from it. if your really innocent from the case but was slain for. all the staff can do is just void your adminstats slay and some may even compensate you ranging from 0-500 points. so don't drag over this incident please. what has been done is done. the mods did their best in what they could do and they are just following the !motd.

Actually, I noticed before that even with fall damage enabled, small amounts of prop damage still don't show up (I've taken up to 4 dmg from props without anything showing up, not even fall dmg. )

if that's true then i have no word to say to the damagelog. but i doubt so since the damagelog records every single damage ranging from 1-9999.
