Oh yeah, same thing happened to me. Launch button does not work for me.

What I use to get around this, I double click "FTB Presents Direwolf20 1.12 (v1.11.0) Minecraft Version 1.12.2" and the game opens for me.

 

Who love to join but it's modded, and I don't really like Minecraft modded. How big is the FTB mod pack?

You guys could always try to launch it from Twitch.

 

Reading the trace, you're only giving it about 1gb of ram. That may be the issue and allocating more may fix it.
Another thing you could try is downgrading java as per this post <https://forum.feed-the-beast.com/th...-context-found-in-the-current-thread.132180/>

Is that the whole error or is there like more above? seems a bit vauge for a crash trace.

 

I've wanted to get back into Minecraft so I'll check the server out when I get a chance.

 

I've upgraded the host machine once again. Performance should be significantly better now.

FYI I recommend multimc over all other launchers.

 

True. Old TTT server used MultiMC and it worked great. Easy to set up and easy to join servers.

 

I didn't want to complicate the process further for those who are not so techy, so I left things like MultiMC and other modifications out. Shortest and east route.

 

@Opalium Can we have a /kit Basic that gives stone tools plus all the books incase we lose them?

 

I don't care if it doesn't have like tools and such, but I'd like for the books to be an option there.
Maybe we can have "/kit Tools" which would give you stone tools and some wood.
Then we could have "/kit Books" which would obviously give you the books.
