I've done some reading in the comments here and more than anything, I think this is especially true. This is absolutely an area that we've been lacking lately- and we will address this. I'm going to have a discussion here shortly with my admins (as will the other leads) to emphasize this during their trial periods, and to have discussions with their moderators on how to identify hacking, evidence collection for hacking bans, as well as some of the other factors that can happen in server that may distort what the spectator is seeing.
iirc panzer made a whole thread in the staff discussion forums about how to detect hacks. try to find it, it helped me learn basically everything i know. EDIT: I saw it back when I was staff. the thread had already been a bit old too but it still may be usefull.
