I've found that view distance is pretty insignificant as well. Just turn everything down until it's playable.

You should be able to play it on basically any machine if it can be played on a phone

 

All of my settings are on the lowest on my res is almost lowest, too

He looks pretty good, and with the price for him and the extra vbucks i'd say it's worth.
Random thought but it'd be kinda cool if someone made him into a gmod skin and suggested it on here, or maybe one of the other fortnite skins.

but then i freeze for a good 5 seconds when i land at a good spot
