Currently there is only Minecraft b5 in modded but I feel like ppl would enjoy it more if there were a few others as well.
I don't like vanilla maps on vanilla, so why would I want more vanilla maps on modded? No way cowboy. -1
Not everyone's really into the MC maps for one reason or another. I personally like them and wouldn't mind being able to use modded content on MC maps but I doubt it'll be a popular opinion.
Even if it is just one modded server that would be great. We have 5 modded and 2 vanilla. Maybe one modded could be like half and half (weapons and some maps from modded and some Minecraft maps from vanilla.)
Nah. If I wanted to play a Minecraft map, I'd either go to Vanilla, or just play Minecraft. Minecraft b5 also may be my least favorite map Edit: To go further, I'd rather have new maps come on the server rather than maps that are readily available on any vanilla server.
Ye it’s pretty much my least fav Minecraft map as well. I feel like seriousmc could be added to modded.
I mean I could see the appeal of having a vanilla server with modded maps and I can also see the appeal of having a modded server with vanilla maps. I just don't know if there would be a following for either one that would be large enough to justify it.
Vanilla is mainly Minecraft maps because some people are missing textures from CS: Source. The textures used in Minecraft maps are from the base game itself, meaning all you need is Garry's Mod to see the Minecraft map textures. I have to disagree with this at the same time. Minecraft maps are a tad bit boring compared to modded maps, mostly because the "realism" isn't there in those maps compared to more real looking maps. TL;DR Minecraft maps are basically just in vanilla for texture purposes.
How about no, I could see two things happening if we make a hybrid server: vanilla players won't play it because they don't have the textures for everything, modded players won't play it because has minecraft maps. Seems like a resource waste to me. I'd rather see darkrp or like @Carned suggests a low pop server.
He means when map changes from a vanilla map to a modded map, all the players missing cs:s will be missing the textures on the modded maps
Its still a modded server.. Its so we can play vanilla maps on modded other than b5 cuz its not that great. But there is no way to use health station perks and such on vanilla.
Either way, as I stated earlier Feel like it's a waste of space when much better maps could be added in their place, as they would just get RTV'd extremely often anyways
