Here are the rules:

The reason why is because I, myself, had a pretty negative year. I'm sure many of you had one, too. Hopefully not, but...you never know.

So I want you to remember the good times going into this one! Every year has ups and downs, and every year people say the same "<current year> sucked!" That's why I want us all to remember some of those memories that make life worth living for.

I'll choose based on who I think the points will help the most (but no begging!).

My favorite irl memory of 2017 was probably having my first kiss, my favorite SGM memory has to be getting mod again/ the Halloween event

My favorite IRL memory of 2017 was completely destroying my finals, it felt great that all the time I took to study paid off.
Favorite memory on the server this year had to be Xpro's jihad in spawn, never laughed as hard as I did when I saw that and was a great way to end the year.

Real Life was definitely seeing my mother after 5 years,honestly was the best for me.

Servers wise, I really can't pin point one thing. Now I know that sounds cheesy but it's the honest truth, y'all make every moment special and honestly y'all keep me here and keep me trooping on through the tough times and the good.

As for entry wise, I will have to think about that as I have everything besides the new Jihad sounds that should be coming soon.

Best server memory was probably also becoming mod.
My best memory of 2017 in my life would maybe be when I turned 15 I guess? I don't know, I didn't have that many good/memorable memories, mainly bad ones or heart breaking memories. I had a lot of break ups during 2017, hoping 2018 will end better. Honestly, my best memories were on the servers. This community has brought me much joy to come. Thanks for the giveaway nonetheless.

 

Were you in a coma? If you don't have many on this server, you've still got real life! Unless you were in a coma, in which case, my apologies.

 

Think about a day when you just felt at peace. Or even a moment. Just a single moment where you felt at peace. No matter how hard it gets, we're given at least one of those every year. They're why we push on past the negatives.


Also, on a personal note, from friend to friend, when I was 15 I also had a shitty time. High school can be fucking brutal. Hang in there, man.

 

For the servers, joining SGM, being staff here. I made new friends and could see how SGM has improved. Many occasions happened, goods and bads. Lots of new players are/were coming, such as me. When I first joined the servers I never thought about staying that long. However, after having much fun playing here I decided to stay. But there were also bad things happening, but these can't be changed. Bad things will always happen, however, I believe that our community is still doing great and can change such things if needed. So, joining this community is something that I will never regret and forget.

For irl there wasn't really much happening. I'd say getting the Switch was nice.

For me, it would be getting a house with six of my friends for college. It is just an incredibly different experience even from dorm life. Everyone gets along, does their work, and we still have time for all that college fun everyone talks about.

Oh, also, my guitar playing has been excelling.

 

My favorite memory of 2017 is finally building a gaming computer.

My favorite memory on the server is watching 20 people getting killed by a single jihad on Nuclear Power.

IRL: Being a graphic designer I got to work with a YouTuber named "McJuggerNuggets" who has over 3 million subscribers. I made a few posters for him making that $$$.

SGM: It's hard to pick TBH, because I log on so much there's basically a memory everyday. I killed lots of people tho
