Describe. Are you talking about traitors becoming invisible? What are the limitations? How would this benefit gameplay? Would this make the disguiser obsolete?
Yeah right.... Disguiser sucks. Its only usable for sniping. A cloaking device opens a lot of new strats for Ts as well as making the Innos and Detes to have awareness. As long as it is similar to the TF2 invis watch(cant attack while invisible, bumping someone can reveal you for a tiny bit, taking any kind of damage reveals you for a tiny bit, can be killed while invisible.) If we can make it that way +1.
id say make it so that u cant fire while its on, and have to turn it off to fire also make it battery powered and u have to wait for it to recharge
Well, thats what it should be lol.Also, whenever you decloak or battery runs out, a small sound cue should appear(decloaking sound), so the really nearby players know someone is up to something.
There should just be a limited time to be cloaked. The disguiser is pretty much an insta death if on.
I don't believe that this is something we really need to add to the servers, nor should it take top priority. The disguiser works well for me as long as I don't forget it's on. That being said, so long as you are unable to shoot while cloaked I don't mind this being added.But as others have stated you should not be able to cloak yourself and open fire on innos as that makes it pretty tough for them to fight back. But I'm not sure it should be on a battery fully- Yes it should eventually run out and I like the idea of it beeping or something to alert innos that someones cloak has worn off but I don't think it should be able to be used consistently off and on throughout the round as long as there's battery. Maybe only a few uses? Like 1-3 uses? I'm not sure. I'm not opposed to this in the least as long as necessary precautions and discussions are had prior to any possible addition.
Yeah not able to shoot, it’s like an escape tactic when you are kosed. I’d say it lasts like 10 seconds and only get 3 uses on it. Also it makes a wobbly noise when you are uncloaked so innos know someone was cloaked. I’d also say that the T cloaked is still vulnerable to weapons and such but gets a speed boost so they can get a chance to escape.
Now....here is my idea for a balanced Invis Watch/Cloak:15 seconds when battery full,full 40 seconds recharge when completely depleted(4 seconds for 10 percent recharge),Cant attack while cloaked,bumping reveals you as a shadow for a bit,same when damaged.You still take all damage from bullets,but get a small speed boost when damaged.Being given any Status effect(such as being set on fire,the effect will not be hidden,thus revealing you until it ends).You will not be counted as the 'person reflected in the victim's eyes if you were cloaked when the victim looked in your direction.Also,you may still throw harmless grenades(smoke).Decloaking will produce a small decloak sound to indicate nearby people that someone decloaked.
I actually like your way of thinking, however do you really want to use battery for it’s life source?
I meant like it should have a limited use, like the teleported. Of course there should be a cool down to use it but there should be a limited time to use it. You know?
Well,still.....my idea is to give it a LARGE cooldown so Traitors are forced to be also aware,alongside Innos and Detes.Wasting full battery(from my idea)will make you invis for around 15 seconds and force you to wait about an entire minute for full recharge.Teleporter has limited using because it provides the ability to instantly move from point A to point B.Cloak isnt that type,right?
