Reason For Report:

He has slayed me and, him and a trial mod named Death conspired against me in a witch hunt to give me a slay and bully me.

It was the last round of the office map, I had a KOS on two traitors from earlier in the round. The approached me surrounded by a swarm of other players. As I shot at the two Ts that were already KOS by myself for traitors acts I had witnessed I killed 1 of them and got 2 others in the crossfire, fair game they were all GBA anyways. I was then slayed by the two mods as they tried to tell me I was in the wrong.

3 slays were issued in total, their authoritarian view and mod supremacist mentality was hugely unprofessional and damaged the reputation of the server as other members within the team speak agreed.

I've seen this and will respond as soon as I can.

I'll also be tagging @Death and @forcie as they were the 2 trial mods training with me at the time.
This could be a useful case for further training.

Though you should not report Death for this, as I was the one who issued the slay.

Alright.
So first of all thank you for taking the time to report me.


Let's get this started.

I slayed you for this report:



As Death explained to you through chat, a person is not GBA for just being near a KOS'ed player.
Nobody can force you to take action against a KOS'ed player.


The rules state:

So Ghast didn't have to do anything. Even if he was with 2 KOS'ed players.
He's free to follow the KOS and attack them if he wishes to do so, but he doesn't have to.

So based on your response I decided that the report in question was valid and therefore added on slay on you for RDM.


As your response in Chat showed, you did not like that.
And it seems like you didn't listen to the explanation Death gave you.


You then claimed something you didn't mention in your response earilier.




Since it would completely change the situation if they did actually comitt traitorous acts, I removed the slay and set the report in progress again to investigate further using the information you didn't give us earlier.




You than said something else, which again is something you completely held back earlier.



But as the logs showed, you were the only one who shot:



After re-checking the report and talking to you and the 2 trial mods present, I then added the slay back and closed the case.


Since you didn't only kill Ghast, but also Death in the same situation I added 2 more slays for the 2nd RDM.







I don't see this as a "Witch hunt" like you claimed in your report aswell as ingame.
We didn't "bully" or harass you in any form.

I'm sorry if you feel offended by what happened, but we didn't do anything besides dealing with the report in question and explaining our point of view to you through chat.
We never insulted you or anything similar to that.
It was just a situation like any other. We always stayed on a professional level.


If @forcie or @Death have anything to add, they can do so. They were witnesses.

Do you not have the video evidence it will corroborate story, usually this is available?

 

Since we were dealing with a report that came in shortly before the map changed, I do not have video evidence.
Deathscenes are only available for the current map.
We acted based on the logs.

 

Hello Linux.

You can not kill players next to people who have being KOS for GBA.
Trial mods do not have any power in game the only thing they can do is tell the mods what they think of the reports.
The mods still have to check what the trial mod has said.
We do not need video in this case, the logs are very clear.

I see no "witch hunt" or bullying. What I do see is someone who has not read the extended rules and is trying to lie there way out of two slays.
In this case Teroxa did everything by the book.
Report invalid.
