Rejected Quests

Honestly, its hard for most to get points. I dont wanna afk, as it affects hours, and this iMac cant handle it.
Anyways, I think it would be fun if every day there is like 3 quests. Like
(As a traitor) Kill someone with a flare gun (500 points)
(As a detective) Use a visualizer (250 points)
(As a innocent) Headshot a traitor with the rifle (500 points)

This'll be a fun way to earn some extra points

 

Quests? That's not the right term for gmod ttt. Maybe challenges.

Let's do the MATH HERE BOYS.

1 round of detective costs ~100 ponts of which you can buy an infinite amount of.
detectives are able to buy 1 visualizer per round, which uses their 1 credit.

All they have to do to use a visualizer is drop it on the ground, so that means that I can actually MAKE points!


d = cost of detective round
a = achievement payoff (per round)
p = points made in a round.
r = number of rounds.
t = total number of points

a - d = p or 250 - 100 = 150

pr = t or 150 x 10 = 1500

SO if this challenge were to be implemented I could easily make 150 points every round and all I would have to do is buy detective and drop a visualizer. It's not 100% perfect as you can still get traitor rounds and you can be killed before you can drop a visualizer (unlikely but possible).

 

What game do you play where you can replay a quest with ease?

You can do 3 quests (1 of each) a day. And these were just examples

 

Although based off of the results on Deathrun the Achieve! system was just a big dud and didn't really blend well with the gamemode. I doubt it would work well in TTT even if It did give you points for completing them.

 

It’s been a couple months and so far the poll is good.

 

+1 if we have the man power to do it thats a pretty ok idea.

 

Achievements are something we want to do, but this isn't time yet. We got our hands full with other things.
Perhaps in the future. But not now.
