I was banned for "RDM and leave" but I honestly don't know why someone would think that, I never rdmed anyone and I never had a report against me as far as I know. I think someone misfired on the ban my friends​

Hi @Mooserider thanks for taking the time to appeal this ban on the forums.
First of all I was training with @Cie but I will be providing the evidence etc.
Let's get right to it

Let me ask, why did you do this damage to me when I was a detective?

 

Hey @Toest that's quite confusing, I don't remember ever killing a detective as an innocent. All I can think is that it must have been during the end of a round. The only incident I recall is on one of the minecraft maps, the round ended unexpectedly so I shot the person nearest to me, I can't remember who it was but over voice they asked me what the hell I was doing (or something to that effect). Because they reacted that way I wondered if there had been some sort of mistake and that the round wasn't really over - but then the round restarted a moment later so I didn't think anything more of it. I don't remember exactly when this happened but it's possible I left afterwards seeing as I didn't think I had actually just rdmed someone.

If it turns out I'm in the wrong here then apologies, I'll just wait out the ban, just as long as it's known it was totally unintentional. Thanks for considering my appeal.

 

Unintentional rdm is still rdm. I provided the evidence and it doesn't lie, sorry.

 

Do the logs specify whether it was during the end of a round? If not, do they specify at what point in the round it occurred, or if the round restarted shortly afterwards, etc.? I'm aware unintentional rdm is still rdm, but if it was after a round ended I don't think it's fair to consider it that. And if I had accidentally rdmed, if I'd known I would have stayed and waited out the slay.

 

The logs do not show post or pre-round damage

 

Do they show when a new round has started? Because one definitely started right after the incident I described above, and if that incident isn't the rdm in question, then I have no idea why the logs say what they do.
Also, do you know what map the server was on at the time this happened?

 

Yes, there are separate logs for each round.

 

Thankyou for the info. If the screenshots of the logs you posted earlier are for that entire round then I think this backs up my case as you can clearly see that me damaging you must have been basically the very last thing to happen in the round, based on the scroll bar on the right.

I don't want to blame this on a bug, but it seems to me that something weird has happened, and my shooting you was for some reason recorded despite the round being over, and a new round being about to start. Logically my damage to you shouldn't be the last thing to happen in a round; it should instead be either a traitor killing the last innocent or vice versa.

 

It is not the last thing that happened, there was other events after that, there was no bug I have a video of you shooting me. I am going to deny this appeal because this argument has gone nowhere. Thanks for taking the time to appeal this and sorry for the confusion that I am having a hard time clearing up for you.
