Hey! I've searched for a post that is similar to my idea for a post, and I didn't find one at all, so I thought I'd make one. The idea of this post is to post pictures of places of different parts of the world (from your point of view, or far away from where you live). I live in Canada and I'm currently 4K kilometers from my home, but I still am within Canada. Here is one of my pics on top of a mountain on Ellesmere Island.
I got a shit ton, but since im too lazy to find my camera: Coche Island, Caribbean Sea, Venezuela Spoiler: #
Thought you didn't have a phone for face reveal?!?! Also live close to paci (too close) here's a quick collage Spoiler: Stuff
Spoiler: Cock fight back in Hawaii... *GRAPHIC* http://i.imgur.com/m7wdzZ2.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/m7wdzZ2.jpg
I explore abandoned places with a few of my mates. They aren't fancy vistas by any means but they sure are interesting to look at. All pictures were taken within Romania's borders. Spoiler Spoiler Took those a while ago went visiting an abandoned parachuting tower. A peculiar site indeed. That was just a scouting run and we'll be doing a climb soon. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And here we have an abandoned (or semi-abandoned) power plant. There are guards still looming around the place from time to time but it hasn't been operational in a while. Again , this was more of a scouting run so we could see whether or not it was being guarded. After drawing some pretty nifty guard patrol patterns and what we believe to be a almost accurate map of the layout of the building we will be returning to this place. Spoiler Spoiler This last pic was taken in an abandoned section of a building close by to the plant. We used that place to get a more accurate view of the plant's exterior site as well as look for entry routes. Bit easier to sketch things out during the day since we usually make our visits during the night so falling in random pits ain't exactly fun. That was all for now, if you guys found this interesting I'll probably keep you updated.
Oh it's loads of fun! Both as an experience that brings our little exploring group together but it also is an opportunity for some pretty nice shots. We've run into trouble here and there .One of us had open fractures on both his legs a while ago after falling in a silo. But nevertheless over the years we've become a pretty strong team , and we've been going strong (with no accidents) for about a year and a half now. I'm happy to say that I would put my life in their hands any day and I know so would day. Besides, we have to do it either way on more ballsy climbs.
how does it feel to be rated dumb for no reason! but that's a nice place you got there, I actually enjoy your post a lot!
