Answered False Ratings?

Question is: What happens when someone falsely rates a post?
Is it a warn? orrr

You can rate any post anything you want no matter what. You may lose your rating privileges if it is clear you are just targeting someone and spamming them however, so take caution that if you plan to give out any negative ratings that you try not to spam the person with them!

 

Nothing? Unless they spam you to timbuktu I guess.

 

An opinion is an opinion, no matter how small. Ratings are one of the ways a user to express their opinion on a subject, and censoring opinions is not something we do.

We only intervene when the rating system is abused in a fashion that breaks one of our other forum rules.
