Rejected Lottery Tickets and Jackpot winners

So this came about due to me buying 97 tickets in the point lottery. I then look today and someone bought >1000 tickets. Someone then told me he had won the jackpot previously and he does show up in the recent winners portion of the lottery screen. It doesn't seem right to me that you should be able to win the lottery and basically snowball by buying a lot of tickets over and over again. I think some possible solutions would be to: make a limit on the amount of tickets you could buy, making it to where lottery winners either have a cool down on buying lottery tickets/can't buy them at all, some form of diminishing returns (i.e. making their tickets worth less), etc.

If anyone has any thoughts/further suggestions, I am wondering what you guys think about this. I will also make a poll.

Reason for being denied: Everyone has a chance of losing. No matter how many points you have, you can still lose it all. That's what gambling is.

 

Yes, everyone has a chance of losing, however I'd consider it unfair that some people would get lucky once and then be able to keep winning because they won that one time. This then practically creates a barrier of entry, so to speak, preventing people from being able to have a reasonable chance of winning.

 

The only time time i won the lottery its was with 1.52% chance and i won 400k
So -1 reading messages from ppl who had a higher chance of wining to me was pretty fun tho

 

I feel it's currently fair, it's how a lottery works. People in real life don't lose a percentage of their chance based on if they've won recently, it all depends on the luck of the draw.

 

After reading these responses and thinking about it, I have reconsidered my suggestion.
