SGM Game Night

I don't mind doing a Tf2 game night, but I'd rather it not be at the same time. How about, after the game night I will go ahead and set up a time to play tf2.

 

For my first game night, I can say it was pretty lit. Don't recall that much "toxicity" being a theme, yes some people did split to play a separate game but in the end people came together for pictuonary and TOS, it was still fun nonetheless! I enjoyed playing with all of you last night, thanks for the fun first night!

 

This just goes to show how much of a shitfest last night was.
Still, you removed the host's admin rights well before he began to micspam (taking your word) then proceeded to make others admin.
Also you say that you didn't think White Guy could do much, the only mod who was on for most of Game Night, yet you then give admin to everyone in the channel? Exactly what were you hoping to accomplish

I may just remove TF2 from the list of games entirely. It's easy enough for those who want to play to play on a weekday, Sunday, or earlier on Saturday. There's no reason for this to even be a problem

 

You should gather people up for a tf2 game on a separate thread and that might attract more players tbh. I am for sure down for tf2.

A couple edits I've made to the OP:

1. TF2 and L4D2 have been removed from the list of games. Those who want to play TF2 have all week to play. That way, they can enjoy Game Night without getting antsy.
2. A Blacklist has been added. Take this as your official warning. Those on the blacklist will be those I find in the future promoting this kind of toxicity and disregarding Game Night or SGM rules

 

This is something im tired of hearing and I was kicked and blamed for yesterday. I DID NOT MIC SPAM. I WAS THE HOST FOR CHRIST SAKE. Trevor just sounds really similar and he was doing the skrrt shit all night.

Lol we didn't "troll darkrp while advertising SGM" What? We played darkrp as a group. Also I would have given you your admin back Xpro it was just a kid. I had lots of fun on this game night and I think lots of others did as well, even though it got off to a rocky start. The main problem in my opinion was that we couldn't agree on what to play and that most people; including me; felt like it should not just be Kyle the Penquin's choice for what we play and that it should be a straw poll. The only thing that I really felt was shitty about the game night was White Guy telling me I couldn't post NSFW memes in the ts chat, people left to play TF2 (doesn't bother me too much but I would have liked to have done game night with the people that left), and that it wasn't organized. Also for a little there was a password on the TS channel that no one in the channel knew and for some reason some people who wanted to join couldn't and/or people didn't tell them/remove the pass. I know that at least one player didn't end up ever coming in because of this, I do not ever think there should be a lock on the TS channel for gamenight.

 

I did not "take admin", people were constantly making new channels because some people wanted to play X game and others wanted to play Y game, I finally realized most people wanted to play town of salem, so I made a new channel called "game night - town of salem" and encourged folks to move there, I was the "admin" in that channel but it did not need any moderation at all for the first bit, I gave @Aries rank as well because no one else was requesting it and I wasn't sure who made the original channel, don't try to blame me for shit when you weren't even there.

You were mic spamming every time you got a guess on pictionary this fucking sound. (12 seconds - 13 seconds) I don't care if you weren't doing it the whole time you did it plenty of times.

 

I didnt just decided which games we were gonna play. I announced the schedule of this Game Night like Python always does in every one. It has to be scheduled or else chaos like yesterday´s ensues. I told everybody what we were going to do, and even left the last session to a popular vote. Game Night is for everybody, but it has to be organized, and I really did my best to do so. The reason for the locked channel was because everybody was coming in to spam and shit. People found fun in being toxic and edgy and that is not what Game Night is about.

 

We can argue how much of a good time or failure last game night was, or we can not. Let's not.

 

Jesus Xpro I told you this yesterday and I will tell you this again. I did not do that shit. That was Trevor all along, you are just stupid and didnt see his name was lit up. And unless you have any proof I dont see your case. And again, its ridiculous to accuse me of that since I was the Host of yesterdays Game Night for at least the beginning, until you guys decided to fuck everything up and take matters into your own hands because you didnt like it.

-TF2 GAME NIGHT-

What? We play TF2. We do not play CTF or 5CP (they take too long). We mostly play payload, but are down for playing custom gamemodes on community servers or doing misc. gamemodes.
When? Immediately after the real game night ends the TF2 game night begins.
Where? Teamspeak, in the box fort channel. I will move anyone in who wants to come in and play. Poke me and I will move you.
What are we playing?

(sidenote, the thread has been unlocked. You may discuss things in a calm and civilized matter, but I highly suggest we let last game night be last gamenight and just move forward. Pointlessly arguing about who was the downfall of the game night is not going to get anything done, and will just create more divides among friends. Ray narvaez jr once said "WAFFLE-O, We are friends, friends love each other.)

@Pacifist might want to set an actual time, game night can be anywhere from 2-6 hours long given history.

 

We'll play it by ear for now. I don't feel like game night deserves to have an end time, we all just stop when we've had enough of the games we are playing. That's a perfect time for some TF2 lol.

That could work as well. I am not sure, I may do it sunday or friday. We'll see how it works out next time.

TF2 game night will be hosted on Friday at 8:00 pm EST (7:00 pm CST, 6:00 pm MST, 5:00 pm PST and so on and so forth), if you want to participate add me on steam so I can easily get everyone into a game and coordinate it (this ways if we need to find a pub that can fit us all I got it!)
