I was wondering if you guys have made a discord ...and if you don't why have you not transitioned ...it's a free platform that is 1000x a lot better and smoother.
Hey @Americanine, Currently, there is no official SGM Discord, only Teamspeak which you may join by connecting to ts.seriousgmod.com, the rules for it may also be found here. If I had to assume, the SGM Community seems to prefer using Teamspeak since it's already there and working fine (essentially the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" saying, which to be honest is also fine.) I'd like to see an official Discord being created as well, but until then, you can join some community-run ones.
Discord is free, but it doesnt have as many customization options that TS has, as far as ive seen. That, and the fact that everyone is already using TS, it would be ridiculous to switch over to discord right now.
There used to be one made by a community member but it wasn't looked after and soon wasn't used. And like Python has already stated, there isn't an official server. Teamspeak is a simple application to use and a lot of people probably wouldn't be comfortable with switching to another application after having used Teamspeak 3 for so long. I prefer it over Discord.
