When SGM starts to Rust[Server Closed]

After some discussion at ingame and over chat we thought changing wipe date to 30.03 (with game update) instead of 01.04 can be better.

What do you guys think about wiping server at 30.03 ?

Some changes about server:

• Some improvements over HUD.
• Increased home limit to 5.
• Disabled Minimap AFK detection.
• Autokit added.
• Supply Kit added.(2 days cooldown)
• Implemented Rust:IO support(will be effective with server wipe)
• Implemented BetterLoot plugin.

EDIT 31/03:

Server wiped and Livemap Implemented. Whoever has most gameplay hours on server for a week will have /sil access for 1 month

 

In the dying hours of the server. I @Vinerra @Doben then @Deepsea1508 feel it was only right to blow up the last two bases which are not ours.

Hey guys,

Would it be ok if Quick Smelt could be added back in? @Buck Rake asked the server if anyone wanted it back and quite a number said yes, obviously the decision lies with you @Vinerra and @Doben but it used to be quite useful.

 

quicksmelt.... this server seems too noob friendly.

 

If I had to guess, I'd say it's because the server population is still fairly small hence the 5x gather rate as well, I mean I can live without Quick Smelt but I miss having things done so quickly xD

 

Yeah but vanilla rust is like watching paint dry or getting your scrotum caught in a mouse trap, not fun. That's why I like this server you get to see your progress pretty quickly

More like it caters to impatience, vanilla rust is quick if you know what you're doing, shit smelting? go out and farm more/find bases to raid/pvp, none of this constant raiding because mats are handed to you, you actually have to choose your targets wisely, and if you dont hit a good base, then you're screwed for a bit, which is rust.

 

More or less every server is like that and it's that part of rust I don't like. The fact that this server is less time consuming is good for some of the newer players or even some of the players who do not have insane time to spend on the game. I for one like the mods as do most of the people who are currently playing it.

It is kinda sad to me bring bad news but we closed all of our servers today. Some may know that we were covering costs from other platforms but since things didn't go well for other games we decided to end it after 2 years.
It was amazing to play and build stuff with you guys.Thanks for joining us
